Why would Booker shareholders sell at this stage. They have just got their take over shares. Selling would have taken place long ago! Surely profits of the discounters are not very relevant whikst they are attempting to grab market share. They are very different animals and appeal to different markets IMO. That is Lidl v Aldi. Targets a dangerous game! look at NHS. better to go with the flow. Many nice things happen when momentum gets under way! including dividends.
