SPIKE those figures are one persons GUESTIMATE and should not be taken as gospel, however IF near the mark then IF a divi was paid to loyal investors then with the number of shares in issue a substantial sum would be paid out via The Divi?? Lots of IFs and BUTs and MAYBEs---people need to calm down and not speculate too much--the immediate concern is the stupid sp currently!! IMO WN holds the key for the majority of shareholders to make money!
Speculation about how much WN will be sold for is ATM fantasy, but DB did mention a couple of years ago about a divi pay out, so hopefully still on the cards. We need an EWT at WN to prove beyond doubt what is there and how it flows. As to other prospects, DB has always mentioned Biscathorpe as maybe being the dark horse, he is a very experienced oil man so maybe he has seen something for him to say that?. Does not do to speculate too far into the future, we have done that with WN and Wressle, both of which have turned up excellent RNSs but as yet the sp remains fairly stagnant--days traders acting on pre RNS news!!
Wiltshireman--Thanks yes totally agree, always at back of my mind the high number of shares in issue and if sp shot up there would no doubt be a major sell of for profit--thats what we are here for. I have said for some time now that UJO is in the plumb area to take advantage of what the future of the Humber area holds. IMHO now we haveseen so many leaks for the advantage of certain day traders, the only way we will see a good return on our money is when WN is sold off, plus a divi. We need the EWT and with no delay, and with money from Wressle we should not need a placing any time soon. It is a disgrace how honest LTH holders are being played around. Anyone can trade but on back of leaked information is not playing the game fairly. But with AIM what do you expect? and too small a company maybe for FCA to take complaints seriously?' How did YOU get on with YOUR complaint---any news?
I know this is AIM and some say MMs playing games, but it baffles me that with all the goo news we have had, and all the good news to come that the sp has not rocketed, and how do people trade this share to f---- all to get a small profit when if they waited they could so much more, this tests the patience of JOB!!!!
So what you are saying is you are a day trader out to make a fast buck---your prerogative I know--- but for us LTH we are so near a really big LIFT OFF why would anyone off load their shares when such good news is around the corner, EWT Wressle Biscathorp a little further down the line?? The frustrating point is that with all the good RNSs of late the sp is not nearer the .30p marl?? answer Day Traders which is plain to see from this mornings trading graph, up n down like a yo yo!!
Genuinely believe we are on the verge of big things and this will move forward to another level. Been reading various comments from people who are far more knowledgeable than me and what I read makes me even more excited. A little more patience but next week may well be the start of it all!
I guess when the time comes, --after EWT at WN and Wressle gets going---ALL partners will have to be in the negotiations, and , as said, DB will want the best possible deal for UJO and its shareholders, plus--do not forget--a good healthy dividend t boot!! Pieces of this complex jigsaw are slow being put into place. Wressle next piece of good news, maybe next week?
I have every confidence there is NOTHING wrong--yes it does test the patience of many, but we have two types of investors/punters here. One who trades this share constantly making his 50--100--200 quid and this holds down any real sp progress, then we have --like you and me---the long term holder. If you look at the bigger picture with what UJO is involved in here we HAVE to be confident that one day with Wressle flowing West Newtons EWT proving up exceptionally well Biscathrope and others then we will be the real winners---frustrating at tow steps forward and one back but look at where we were at beginning of the year--progress is slowly going in right direction, then one day hopefully BOOM!!
Lots of exiting news flows to come, and just because some feel there is a delay---which I am sure there is not---people begin to question whether there are problems. We are in difficult times globally and I am sure that this has a knock on effect for the operator at times. We ARE close to Wressle producing, WN will have to have an EWT. Biscathorpe to follow etc For those who keep pointing the finger at DB or saying HE is in talks with every Tom Dick & Harry for a buy out/takeover, remember he is NOT in charge only in charge of UJO. We are a small partner and any future talks---which will not be going on until at least after any EWT---will be firstly with the operator surely and then with its partners. Slowly a big project is being established and if things go to plan we will all benefit from the Sp and any Dividend made. Patience is key, many have been here years and for those wanting a quick buck?? You have no idea!!
Mazza Just catching up with your posts and reply to me.
With respect I do not think I have missed the point I did not mean to imply DB was responsible for the leaks but you say he is responsible for not doing anything about the leaks--like many others? What can he do. He is adamant that no leaks have emanated from his organisation. I speak to him regularly and view him as a good honest guy, old school who does not pull any punches. He is p---d off with the leaks, p---d off with sp, and p---d off with personal abuse he gets, but as he says, What am I supposed to do. When news leaves UJO to be broadcast via an RNS eg placings, it goes to the broker and from there anyone could give our BMD the news before we hear about it. BMD is principally responsible for this ramping of share on news ---an open secret, but whoever is originating the leaks is obviously very canny as is BMD and one has to admire him for this---although we do not agree with it---he is able to trade before we get a look in, yes one can say it is insider trading but very difficult to prove even if the authorities were to investigate. It goes on all the time with many other companies I am sure. Hopefully with a buy out OR major news we will all makes some money not just the privileged few who are privy to inside information and are always one/two steps ahead of us. Everyone entitled to trade but on a level playing field and thats what grates to so many of us and of course BMD is laughing all the way to the bank. But as said I live in hope OUR time will come---thats why we are still here??
Mazza Just catching up with posts and saw your reply. With respect I have not missed the point. I think many are blaming DB for not acting on these leaks, which, to the ill informed is a natural reaction. I have spoken to him on a number of occassions, he is very approachable and maybe if you have the inclination you should also give him a call. He--like most of us--is infiriated by the leaks and where the sp is. he is adamant the leaks do not eminate from anyone in his organisation. He cannot be responsible for what goes on once the info on an RNS leaves the company and is in the hands of brokers or others--what is he supposed to do he asks. When we have someone like BMD Dan who is very clever at what he does and obviously has his contacts who --seemingly---give him his info freely. he then acts on that before we can get a look in asit were. OK to trade but fairly and that is where the line is crossed. yes he laughs at us. But getting back to the point, what can DB or UJO do about people such as BMD?? he has been around for years and sees UJO as easy pickings as there is so much huge potential. According to DB UJO is not the only company that this goes on with so not unique to UJO. IMHO DB is an honest old school bloke who is open to any discussions with anyone prepared to listen and put valid arguments forward. I live in hope that one day we will get BOOM TIME and lift off, I still have faith we will make money--as does DB but all the time BMD is doing what he does, one has to accept that sometimes we will have the rug taken from under our feet. IMHO Take over or buy out time is the time we stand to make money Good luck all
It is beyond belief that seemingly intelligent folk on here keep blaming DB for these leaks??? Do you not realise that the release of an RNS is not down to UJO or Reabold BUT the Operator--so please stop blaming DB As to BMD yes he is entitled to trade like anyone else invested BUT not because he has done so unfairly and by getting INSIDE information on the release of news. He obviously has someone inside who he gets his prior info from and THAT is the problem for the rest of us. The writing was on the wall last week when he released the news of an impending RNS, he does not do this for the benefit of us smaller investors but SOLELY for his own benefit---yes we could have traded on HIS news last week but a big risk, he knows its fact an RNS was coming---we did not!! The authorities will not do anything, they have to have rock solide watertight evidence to even consider an investigation and when was the last time they did that?? We either stick with it hoping WE get our just rewards or bail out----we have a bad apple in the barrel we cannot get out-----end of rant!!!
With all the BUYS today---albeit very small generally---I am surprised we are not in positive teritory?? The market now needs meat on the bones, some actual figures as to how much oil/gas is at WN and how it will flow and only the EWT will do that and then BIG BOYS may come knocking, but not till then! Patience and we will be rwarded
Mirasol--I post rarely on here because of crass and ill informed posts or just pure trolls out to cause mischief. BUT if you are genuinely interested in UJO, I would suggest you take notice of some of the in depth research some have done. Heidi and I know of a genuine investor who has spent hours researching masses of info for LTH. The area is going to be the new energy hub for the UK no doubt, you do not get the likes of Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS investing in areas with no future. UJO and its partners are in an area so close to the North Sea and its riches. We have world class geologists, we have projects quite far apart which maybe are all linked up with considerable gas and oil resources. Technical data does not stand still and so what may have been missed or not worth investigating years ago is now a much different picture---we have not got to wait long to see the results and whether big boys are REALLY interested in West Newton etc. I have every faith we will have rich rewards but as David Bramhill always says--no guarantees! Happy and Prosperous New Year for us ALL
