Why would you accept an offer less than the 45p that BHP paid for their current holding ? Three times that would be the starting price. Clearly you are not a long term holder.

So vindicated. It went to 81p in intraday trading.

Well I have been in this stock since 2007 and it has seen 80p plus. Have faith . This is not going for a song.
