Anyone that has followed the share price of Novacyt over the last 12 months should be pretty excited about what could happen here. 12p to £1,270 in a year for NCYT. The recent RNS from N4P confirming that Nuvec® as a vaccine delivery platform could provide the solution for the vaccine industry and could be of "Significant interest to multiple vaccine developers" reminds me of the start of the NCYT rise. Citigate have been given copious amounts of ammo this year to raise the profile of Sareum. This includes a Covid grant from UKRI (twice). This really should have appeared in medical / peer press such as The Lancet & BMJ and on BBC TV and radio (Fergus Walsh is all over these kind of Covid stories), SKY (Thomas Moore reports daily on Covid as does Mark Austin on the Sky News Hour at 5pm), ITN (Emily Morgan and Tom Clarke are on most nights with Mary Nightingale and Tom Bradby talking about Covid developments as well as Robert Peston) CNN's Richard Quest is a Brit in New York who broadcasts business stories each weekday evening between 8 and 9pm). The Times / Sunday Times (e.g. Sabah Meddings writes about pharmas / science most Sundays) plus Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Guardian, Indie, Wall Street Journal etc. I haven't seen the story about our grant appear anywhere. N4P has been flagging up since the summer that Nigel Theobald, ceo, is focusing his time on "collaborations". Pfizer, Moderna, AZ etc will all now know about N4P’s commercial proposition to create significant cost savings in vaccine transportation, storage and administration via Nuvec® as a delivery platform. The fact that N4P’s CEO is on the record as saying “it could be of significant interest to multiple vaccine developers" is clearly a major moment for the sector and for N4P share holders in particular. We just need confirmation that a major pharma is in talks with N4P for this to sky rocket. There was a line in the small print of the 15th July RNS which read:..."allowing Nigel Theobald, Chief Executive Officer, more time to focus on driving the Company's development programmes and potential commercial collaborations". This is surely code for "Nigel is in negotiations". Last week's news about "Significant interest to multiple vaccine developers" will surely boost Nigel's hand significantly with his "commercial collaborations" with big pharmas. Yes, your point about the N4P "commercial messaging" is a valid one. Their chief exec is communicating the financial possibilities of their science, which the market clearly like as it is up 64% as I type. We are talking about the science.
