$1.45 billion deal just announced for British immunotherapy firm Kymab by Sanofi. The £££price tag is another piece of very encouraging news for Sareum. The deal, which will see Sanofi pay $1.1 billion upfront, will give it full rights to Kymab’s KY1005, an antibody therapy viewed as having the potential to treat a wide range of inflammatory disorders and immune-related diseases. KY1005 passed a mid-stage Phase IIa clinical trial in August. The deal price could increase by $350 million based on reaching certain milestones, Sanofi said.

Research has proven that SNG001 boosts lung defences, so not only are we going to be halting Coronavirus attacking and damaging the lungs but SNG001 also stops influenza in its tracks. In the real world this = Takeover or Licencing. Patients who had SNG001 were more than twice as likely to recover & there were no deaths in the group taking the SNG drug. Quite right and let's not forget that we have a drug formulation that has proven to saves lives . i.e. SNG works. This will be a takeover or licencing target this year once Synairgen reveals its data over the next few months. I've been invested here since 29p and I see huge gains to come in my opinion. The article today in The Independent by Sir Stephen Holgate (co-founder of Synairgen) makes for very positive reading indeed for Sareum investors. Interestingly re Covid Sir Stephen flags up recent research that dexamethasone could cut deaths by as much as a third in intensive care. Could this be Sareum and its dexamethasone data being used on a Covid trial? We know that from the research Tim and John have flagged that a large, randomised study of dexamethasone in COVID-19-related cytokine storm has shown it reduced mortality in ventilated COVID-19 patients and those receiving oxygen. The fact that it can improve patient outcomes in combination with Sareum’s lead TYK2 inhibitors surely has to be of interest to UKRI and the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies. Is the dexamethasone data from Sareum going to be the silver bullet for Covid? Fascinating & exciting times for Sareum investors.

The trading update confirming JD Sports' consumers readily switching from physical to digital channels is another positive message demonstrating that people are easily transitioning from traditional shops to online shops on a seismic scale. See Next results last week on this topic ("the sales gained in our Online business compensated for almost all those lost in Retail stores"). I'm hoping to see 75p to 80p pre our January update on Friday, although this could be breached today. This would then give BWNG a superb launch pad to exceed 100p soon after before we head back up to 150p. I see this trading at between 200p and 300p per share with a dividend. Good luck, Brighty

There is also SKY News’ science editor Thomas Moore reporting daily on Covid & ITN’s Emily Morgan (health) and Tom Clarke (science) are on most nights with Mary Nightingale and Tom Bradby talking about Covid developments. The Times / Sunday Times science reporter Sabah Meddings has written about SNG before but is probably worth reminder her. Also, Katrina Turrill the Health Editor at The Express covers Covid stories most days plus Mary Kekatos is the senior health reporter at the Daily Mail online who covers Covid too. I’m expecting an update soon about N4P’s SARS-CoV-2 spike testing experiment to see whether Nuvec® loaded with pDNA can produce an antibody reaction in mice. This could be of significant interest to a licencing partner or even an M&A suitor.
We’ve also got that “interest to multiple vaccine developers" statement in the pre Christmas RNS brewing in the background about keeping the vaccine stable and at room temperature. i.e. Nuvec® as a delivery platform could provide the solution. Good luck, Brighty

For a potential takeover to occur the suitor would require during the due diligence process for Sareum to declutter itself of any complications. FLT3 fell in to that category.

If a big pharma is running the ruler over Sareum they would now be satisfied that:

• Sareum’s commercial interest in SRRA 737 CHK1 has been re-negotiated / tidied up
• Sareum’s worldwide patents are in place
• Sareum’s two TYK2/JAK1 programmes targeting autoimmune diseases and cancer (SDC 1801&1802) are progressing
• Sareum has a potential treatment for Covid-19 (& Lupus)

The above would also apply if a major pharma was in discussions with Sareum about licencing. i.e. they would want reassurance that patents, in particular, were all in order.

I regard the last few months as the final pieces of the M&A / Licencing jigsaw being put in place.

This is another great addition to the SFOR business and as the company points out today the "China Internet Sector 2021 Outlook estimates the Chinese Online Advertising market is worth over US$107bn". Massive growth opportunities to come from this deal. Burberry, Budweiser, Beyond Meat, Coca Cola, Starbucks, Crocs and Red Bull are already Tomorrow clients. Well done Sir Martin and the team. The detractors on here would be sensible to do some research before posting spurious facts. The key trigger points for the Sareum share price rises in 2020 have absolutely nothing to do with FLT3. Infact on 26th March when the Chinese deal was announced the share price hardly moved and it actually drifted down from to 0.41 to 0.34 for a few days. i.e. The FLT deal in March had no material impact on the share price. It actually was perceived as a negative if you look at the share price drift. If it was so wonderful the SP would have rocketed! The actual trigger points that saw the Sareum share price move significantly upwards was due to the Bio Trinity data in April confirming that Sareum’s Tyk2 was in the Covid mix and that our autoimmune science was developing. The stock market welcomed this news and the share price multiplied by x 3 to 0.93. The placing then occurred taking it back to 0.55 before climbing back to 0.95 in July following the excellent Lupus research update. The next piece of weighty news ensued in October with the US patent allowance and confirmation that Sareum had submitted an application to UKRI for a Covid grant. This combined news saw the share price climb to 1.53p and then a sustained rise to 3.09p. The SRRA 737 renegotiation temporarily knocked the share price back to 1.38p and then it re-started the rise back to 2.5p on the back of Tyk2 / Covid and patent news.

In a nutshell FLT3 has had nothing to do with the rise of the Sareum share price over the last 12 months and therefore the drop yesterday was unwarranted. It has simply been a buying opportunity for people to sweep up shares.

In summary, research in to share price movement is pivotal when investing both pre and during an investment cycle. i.e. The facts dictate that FLT3 has basically been irrelevant to the upwards share price movement over the last 12 months. It has actually been a negative. The momentum for the rise here is Tyk2/SDC/Lupus/Covid and our patents. These are the big prizes and why we are invested in Sareum.

Finally, from an M&A / takeover perspective a suitor will only want to deal with a business that has no skeletons or hidden surprises from the due diligence process to completion. This has now been dealt with. Good luck, Brighty

Next week could be very interesting and commercially rewarding for Webis investors as New York Mayor Cuomo unveils his 2021 plans for New York.

According to the NY Daily News he is quoted as saying: “New York has the potential to be the largest sports wagering market in the United States, and by legalizing online sports betting we aim to keep millions of dollars in tax revenue here at home, which will only strengthen our ability to rebuild from the COVID-19 crisis".

His proposal for New York comes as neighbouring New Jersey continues to break revenue records for sports betting. In November alone, more than US$931 million worth of sports bets were placed in the state, with over 90 per cent of those being made on mobile devices, says the NY Daily News.

Webis has licences for New York as well as California and Kentucky. i.e. Next week is looking very interesting.

Yes, investing in our future via these bright guys is a no brainer for me. I bought in to TEK a couple of years ago and I'm expecting the company to achieve really big gains over the next 3 years, with its portfolio of co's including Guident, Salarius, Lucyd and Belluscura. This was 146p 12 months ago today on January 8th 2020 pre Covid. There's no reason why we can't get back to the January 2020 share price soon. I'm looking forward to the forthcoming update. If it's as good as we are expecting we should see a significant rise. A reminder that this was trading in the 200p to 300p range when dividends were being paid. 50% rise today already and remember last February this went up massively to 0.57 intraday. BOIL is sitting on huge assets. If they can monetize them via a farmout, JV or even a sale then the gains will be really huge. Good luck Brighty
