Boo results look good for BWNG's update tomorrow. "Following the strong peak trading performance, Group revenue growth for the financial year to 28 February 2021 is expected to be 36% to 38%, ahead of our previous guidance of 28% to 32%", says BOO. You are right re California. NYC news is a bonus. Re California, according to my research, gathered from various RNS', Webis extended their California lease until May 2025 with an option to 2030. A very astute move. I've been looking at the small print and legislation discussions from California last year and It has been proposed that new entrants will have to pay $10 million dollars as a fee for a licence where as existing operators (such as Webis) will have their fees halved. This is making Webis even more attractive to the big players in my opinion. Good luck, Brighty

Yes 80p has been breached today. A 12 month high. The current 5% daily share increases are much more welcome than the spikes of old. The encouraging news is that IQE has highlighted that “underlying demand for the technologies that IQE’s products enable will remain strong heading into 2021”. With Skyworks winning sizeable deals with Oppo, Vivo and Samsung this will trickle nicely through to our bottom line. 2021 is going to be a very positive year for IQE. Good luck, Brighty.

Eli Lilly could also be in the running regarding SRA737. Tucked away in the 34 page Workman / Garrett report from the University of Kent and Institute of Cancer Research dated March 11th 2020 it stated that SRA 737 was synthesised with gemcitabine (an Eli Lilly drug). So, another major global pharma to add to the list of who could be in the running to on-licence SRA737 from Sierra having witnessed its effectiveness in this research.

I would prefer to see a sustained 5% to 10% rise per day rather than a spike. If we can get to 80p - 85p pre the Friday BWNG update that would be excellent ahead of the results. As you will note from my posts on BWNG I was initially hoping for 75p-80p pre the forthcoming update on Fri (which is where I think it will be) but we might be north of that by close of play on Thursday if FOMO / momentum kicks in tomorrow. Remember this was over 140p 12 months ago and used to trade between 200p and 300p when the dividend was being paid. Lots of gains to be made here in 2021 in my opinion, especially if we get a dividend reinstatement this year. Good luck, Brighty

WH's 121% increase in the USA in Q4 bodes very well for Webis and its US licences. Surely makes M&A even more attractive to a major player.

The key message in William Hill's trading update for Webis is most likely the following comment:

"Full year net revenue increased 32%, driven by strong growth online. William Hill US went live in five new states and launched mobile in five states, leading to 121% net revenue growth in the fourth quarter".

UK retail sales up 36% at Asos, is very good news for BWNG's results this Friday. In its trading statement today Asos said "growth surpassed its expectations as consumers increasingly shopped online".

Interestingly they state: "With restrictions likely to be in place for the balance of the first half we expect a net COVID PBT benefit1 of at least £40m in H1".

If BWNG can communicate some positive news like this on Friday we should be over 100p.

Good point, Belhus, I think you are right that it is more likely to be a fund. However, I'm still looking at Merck MSD and the June 2019 SRA 737 data showing 100% regression of tumors after 21 days in small cell lung cancer as a wild card licencing opportunity. One to watch. As you say, with SRA 737, TYK2, SDC 1801/2, Covid and Lupus the Sareum share price is at some stage going to go stratospheric. Good luck, Brghty

Basser, I’m hoping that the $7,296,250 Sierra share purchase yesterday could be a global pharma such as Merck MSD buying in to Sierra. Some of you will recall that we have had very positive historic research with Merck in the last 18 months with SRA737. i.e. Back in June 2019 data showed 100% regression of tumors after 21 days in small cell lung cancer (ICB -Keytruda Merck MSD). It would be amazing if Sareum (via SRA 737) is not on Merck MSD's radar regarding how effective Tim and John's science is. Obviously $7,296,250 is a significant investment so let’s hope it is someone like Merck or one of the other big pharma’s buying into Sierra to get their hands on SRA 737. The $1.45 billion acquisition of Kymab by Sanofi is yet more evidence of Sareum being in the right place at the right time. The potential value of Sareum is increasing significantly day by day. If BWNG can achieve 85p per share pre our update this Friday then we should hit 100p soon after on positive news. This has a track record historically (2015 - 2018) of bouncing up 15% - 20% on results day. It's also worth remembering that just 12 months ago this was over 140p and used to trade between 250p and 350p with a dividend. Good luck, Brighty
