Shame the news wasn’t followed up by some more information or updates. Just coming to the markets saying ‘we found 1.9bn barrels we didn’t know was there’ and doing a really unprofessional interview doesn’t seem to have given larger investors any confidence.

Yes we’ve had sellers clearing out before but never at these size trades!and do frequently. Today’s drop makes perfect sense due to the high number of sells, I dont think it indicates anything else more sinister - it’s only 5% after a string rise, to be expected really. I’m hoping for a turnaround this afternoon but if not tomorrow and Friday should be strong blue days. Just wish I could top up at these levels.

Is today the day that the seller has decided to clear the decks. Expect more late reported sells from this morning to justify the drop against some string buying. Going to be a big afternoon to break 40p or more of the same churn? Either way the breaking of 40p is coming sooner or later.

Very strange, is there a big seller in the background in addition to the one showing on the books? Buyers should be piling in at this price and moving it up.

I think theyve taken it down simply because there is much more buying appetite at this level and easy to scare weak holders into giving up shares. There was an early offloader selling in chunks which messed up with the anticipated strong open. Demand is too strong to let if fall much further, assuming the seller has finished we can move back up fairly sharply

I dont think drilling is limited to August, isnt it from August to the following spring?

Think the bounce is coming, 26p alligns with the highs seen on the 7th and lows on the 17th.

I'm completely tapped out and all in here, have to wait a week before I can add any more. Take a look at EUA for the rise and pull backs on the way to 100 bags, got to hold ya nerve if yuo want the rewards. GLA

People seem to be forgetting the importance of the CPR which is the key document for financing and aquisitions.We'll be heading down to the bank for a low rate loan if needed, no more wonga lenders at a discount/dilution. The other option will be the farm out with a % for cash and well carry. Basically once the CPR is done we will hold all the cards.

Personally I would wait until this hits the 90p + mark before trading, then you will see some 8-9p movements per day. From here its all about the buy and hold IMO

Nope, an absolute tonne of sells clearing through. SP holding up nicely. Want to see 40p go today but we may be stuck churning at these levels until the sellers clear. A few mega buys would help see us through.

Someone got a 150k buy just below 38p, moving up again now. At some point the share liquidity will force this up quickly.

Just saying if we had signalled to the market 6 months ago that we had a 50/50 chance of of hitting 1.9bn then the share price would have been higher than the way we just came out with it - a 100% discovery pending CPR. Just the way the market wroks, seen massive rises on the back of potential big drills but with this one nailed on it seems to have missed that part out! Clearly investors prefer the uknown speculation of a mega drill to the dead certainty of a discovery.
