RE: Elon Musk interested in Oil7 Mar 2022 08:48
The board is dangerously close to having more comments than trades which is always a bad sign, so I’ll keep to one a day.
The radio silence is very frustrating. It’s not enough to simply do the job and then report it afterwards. We need forward looking statements with some meat on the bone. I accept that he can’t comment on Cuda yet AND that whether or not we get Cuda will impact our 2022 drilling/funding strategy but we should of have had some sort of update, at least to this effect. Seems that we will have to wait on Cuda to set things in motion then it will be all systems go. We certainly won’t have any issues with funding or finding a farmout partner for onshore US oil. This should be going up a minimum of 10% a day with the rise in WTI!
My prediction is that there will be a massive drilling development this year funded by and outside party. With current WTI it doesn’t now make sense to go alone and gradually build production with self funded drilling over a number of years.
March 2022 is going to be interesting for COPL holders.
