RE: Lots of opinions16 Mar 2022 23:40
Taking a step back the news flow does make sense.
-no Cuda update until we hear from the receiver (we knowing in a bid because we raised for it, any terms are confidential for now)
- no production update since issue with pressure because the fix is waiting on Cuda
- no discovery update because the drilling program is waiting on Cuda
Once Cuda has been announced and end of year is out of the way I expect a flurry of activity here.
-we will be replacing a bankrupt partner with a fully funded one, or adding it to our pot
- oil price is rocketing
-baby steps in Nigeria , could jump ahead
- good understanding of producing assets, upgraded facilities and restart of MF program
Regarding the CPR I don’t know if our one drill and historic drill data, along with geological trends etc will be enough for a CPR over all the whole acreage, but let’s not forget that we have drilled and are producing from a vertical in the Dakota formation which covers most of our acreage. That’s got to be enough to add atleast a few million barrels recoverable to our reserves. That would assign a fair amount of value in the current environment. Anyway I think the CPR is a bit of a red herring, important thing now is Cuda and drilling plans. The master plan will be revealed shortly and we have a number of enviable options depending upon how things pan out.
We know that the valuation assigned to oil companies that are drilling appraisal wells of this magnitude far outstrips our own, so bring on the details and we can generate a bit of excitement.
Shame to see solid commentators and researchers being baited by a few disrupters who are trying to shift the conversation for their own ends. The current vacuum of news will soon to be filled and this can return to a quality board.
