Some interesting answers:

To drill a 15 square metre face with handheld, Vast needs a team of 5 people. The Company needs 60 holes of 1.2 metre length = 72 metres of hole total , @ 0.3 metres per minute = 240 minutes drilling (240 / 60 = 4.8 hours). With hole setup and collar time, close to a full 6 hour shift is required to drill the 15 square metres of face.

With the Mantis rig, Vast needs a team of two people. We drill 60 holes at a 2.4m length for 144 metres of total hole length, at a penetration rate of 1.05 metres per minute = 151 minutes of drilling (151 / 60 = 2.5 hours of drilling). With setup and hole change, probably 3 – 3.5 hours total to drill a full face and achieve double the advance (1.2 meters versus 2.4 metres) with half the people.

Q37: Does that mean that we still have funding for zim through atlas? Or will we need to organise funding should a contract present itself?
The Company will not be going back to Atlas for any further funding.
Should the contract present itself, Vast has prepared other finance solutions.

Approximately 390 people, and yes, this number is expected to stay stable until May 2023.

Sounds like they are both excited and something is brewing.

It was stated that the money raised had been used for costs already incurred in Zimbabwe and applied against ongoing costs of remaining in the country i.e. gone into the pot and used for general costs because the project was put on hold. What are they going to do - return the unused £500k to shareholders?

Re “ Almost everything was in VAST/AP's control to deliver and they have failed for the last 3 years” is not quite right. Remember Covid? Not quite in their control was it? Also the mine needed more upgrading than anticipated (that was poor planning) and the geology turned out to be softer than anticipated which made the high grade material dangerous to access. You don’t know the geology until you get into it so also not in their control. LT shareholders have paid for these partly unforeseeable and partly foreseeable issues but that was the risk you took. Shareholders should assess their holding everyday based on any new information. We no longer have Covid impacting operations, the mantis drills will allow us to access better quality ore safely, the mine has been upgraded in many areas, commodity prices soared and there’s the potential for off take lending as production increases. This isn’t the same project it was 3 years ago so stop talking like it is over and over again. Get over it. Yes you made a bad investment but it’s not the same investment today. The market cap is a fraction of what it was then but the main asset is much better placed. A hint of production increases or progress on other projects and this will fly.

Certainly the focus is on the turnaround at BP as the company is way undervalued on that asset alone but anyone who watches the Q&A will know something is due imminently in Zimbabwe.

So we have the RNS last update on Zimbabwe: “..the finalisation of the anticipated Joint Venture Agreement between the Company’s Subsidiary (and Zimbabwe consolidated mining company) in respect of the Chiadzwa Community Diamond Concession.”

Now we have the two Andrews clearly excited about something imminent brewing in Zimbabwe.

We've had a number of after hours trades showing recntly, some that look like buys and some that look like sellls. In each case it doesnt seem to impact the trading the next day so I am inclined to think the larger ones are MMs rebalancing their books or off exchange agreed trades.

We hsould get some tasty news this week or next. The Q&A certainly indicated thta was the case and the key projects are pointing to June as the key month.

Many sad souls here stuck in the past, cant get over their losses.

Why does it make the slightest bit of difference what the debt was 5 years ago? This is hilarious.

I get the feeling that there will be a big announcement regrding Zimbabwe very soon. The company's own head of diomonds became CEO of the govenment diomand company in 2020 and we continue to work closely with him. There was definatley an air of something brewing on the Q&A with regards to Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile at BP long term shareholders have been diluted out of existance to refurbish the mine facility. Its on turn around mode and we can look forward to big jumps in production as we enter the mechanised phase. We have addional resource deliniation drilling to look forwad too as well, not to mention the final commissioning of the molybdenum circuit is expected to take place during Q2 2022. This should allow for production of between 1.0 – 5.0 tonnes of a 50% Mo concentrate per month, with the prevailing price at $42k/t that a nice little side earner.

Tajikistan promises to also add revenue streams with the 12.25% processing royalty with the processing of stockpiled ore on site expected to commence in Q2 2022. We have service agreement to add to the cash flow and overall stake in the project.

Basically there hasnt been a better time to invest in VAST. And yes, anyone who invested before now basically paid for the oppotunity newer investor have to get in at the bottom on this turna around story, and they rightly are not happy about it. They wont sell up and move on becasue even with very little invested there isnt anywhere better to be at the moment.

All COPL has to do is get a couple more thousand bopd out of the ground to give it breathing room. Unfortunately while all the talk is about billions of barrels of oil the reality of a few thousand barrels remains out of reach. Massively overpaid for Cuda, forward plan is dilution and lending and lending and lending.
