We should see another major farm-out deal fairly shortly. Weren't we in discussion with 9 companies at the end of March?
Was priced for administration. This should open 400% up on Thursday and move onward from there.
What will keep the share price up for the next 12 months? Farmout on the latest flow results is not likely to be amazing. Should do a small deal for a horizontal test well ASAP, then a larger company might be interested.
Mrbrian, what figures are you basing this on, revenue, debt, offtake, lithium price... or just pulled a number out of the hat?
Could this be next on the delisting stampede?
Hopefully this wont move to sub 40p.. it will recover eventually I'm confident.
No formal confirmation that trading will resume on Thursday but as I’ve been saying since suspension this was going to have to wait for the newly issued shares before it is lifted. The LSE have to issue the parameters under which suspension will be lifted, those parameters will be the settlement of forward sold trades by the broker. There us no telling what will happen when it restarts trading but it might be fireworks.
Going to need a consolidation fairly shortly
“Apart from the free promotion of the platform that AVCT will be broadcasting on, something which it should be doing itself, we note that investors in the “cure for cancer” group have a week to run the gauntlet before the prelims are revealed. They will be hoping that the shares currently at a one year low, will not feel the need to test the two year low of 38.5p before Smith, Gardiner and Coughlin step up to the mic next week.“

Wow, that’s almost the same number of shares issued for yesterdays bond repayment. Must be for the good commercial performance. Important work they are doing, would be great if this was a charity and not a business.
Possible that there can’t talk about anything, NDA around litigation, market rules around suspension, upcoming contract deals not yet announced. Get the vote passed and move on. They must be very busy..
There is also another, and potentially significant gainer from these discoveries as Mopane is believed to be on-trend with the 3B/4B licence in the Orange Basin in South Africa where Eco Atlantic have a substantial holding and has recently announced a farm-down to TotalEnergies and QatarEnergy which I am expecting to complete soon. After that I expect drilling to commence on the block, Eco are really in the pound seats here and although the shares have yet to go up by the amount that they should do yet, it must only be a matter of time before the shares rise hugely.
If you add to that the Shell Enigma-1 well is rumoured to be yet another barn-burner the region is buzzing with talk of oil finds from Namibia and South Africa. Indeed today is the opening day of the Namibia International Energy Conference where many industry executives are headed and you can see where the new levels of interest and participation are peaking.
Someone is building a nice position here. No surprise with whats happening in the areas we are looking to farm out.
"Galp said it conducted testing operations at the Mopane-1X well in January and the Mopane-2X well in March. In both wells, which are 8 kilometres apart, it said "significant light oil columns were discovered in high-quality reservoir sands".
Galp said flows achieved during the tests reached the maximum allowed limit of 14 thousand barrels per day, potentially positioning Mopane as an important commercial discovery.
"In the Mopane complex alone, and before drilling additional exploration and appraisal wells, hydrocarbon in-place estimates are 10 billion barrels of oil equivalent, or higher", Galp said.
Before it was a nuisance but at these levels it is material dilution every quarter. Need to see a deal that pays them off.
Ha! Funny how people that have sold out know exactly what is going on. One tweet about the plant working and this will could double in one session.
Stark are gone. It was a costly experiment for shareholders. GR reputation is in the gutter.
Hopefully the new contractors can turn it around for all involved. We have all the ingredients for success - plant, mega ore body and a big supportive partner. The plant will get sorted - its just a matter of whether that happens before shareholders lose patience. A key factor is the Lithium price. The only way is up from here so the economics of the plant and the whole area should improve over time. This is a key inflection point as we all know. Lets start generating some revenue!
The votes have been cast and I'm sure in favour of the fund-raise as there are no other options. The big question is what will happen with the suspension. We may be in the position that the new shares cant be issued until the suspension is lifted, but the suspension cant be lifted until the new shares are issued. I suspect the broker will be waiting until the shares issue is passed at the meeting then will signal the FCA that they are ready to settle the outstanding buys from the forward sells. Its chicken and egg and whether or not this results in a huge share price jump remains to be seen but its certainly a real and exciting prospect.
January, does that take into account debt payments?
"Group adjusted EBITDA of c.US$0.2 million for Q4-2023"
Gold is hedged at the same price, costs have gone up with one mine still not commercial and debt repayments on top of no profit I make that a worse financial situation - unless the debt repayments are pushed back?
