Yes, I said a while ago that I believed that Coplhodler (sic) was in fact this Winnifrith chappie given the language they both used was full of similar tropes etc. I stand by that and have kept them green boxed for ages now, along with our minute by minute SP commentator LB28/Gold, and DJH for obvious reasons. Coplhodler(sic) turned up right after Art spanked his rear-end in public, rightly calling him a 'snakeoil salesman'. Last time I saw anything by Coplhodler(sic), they were threatening to sue somebody on here - might have been Shaa - for libel which is both a bit thick and incredibly funny given that it is literally impossible to inflict reputational damage on somebody on an anonymous bulletin board. Anyway, nothing happening here until RS drops, so see I'll just wait it out until then. GLA all honest Coplers, you know who you are.
Totally agree. I'm very pleased that the company is signalling a clear intention to keep shareholders au fait to a greater degree than before. After all, we have been moaning about insufficient comms for months. It is starting to behave like a proper, professional outfit now. Very happy with how things are developing. I'm here for the long haul so utterly uninterested in daily commentary on SP movements. Any RNS merits comment, however. Good day all, and good luck to all honest Coplers.
I've been concerned about the local protests since I saw the video of a cop tearing down the perimeter fence around the new Heron well cap. I've posted about it a few times and feel that not enough attention has been paid to it by this board, and nor has the company been open about what has been going on. I'm not convinced this is settled at all and will only consider buying back in once there is more clarity around this issue. There has to be a worry now about the company will miss another drilling season with all these issues. Disappointed.
Seems to be fewer green boxes around today. I guess even our Drab Four must get tired of posting the same old carp all day, every day, on a share and company they don't believe in. Glad to see most decent posters just ignore them. Why they do it I have no idea. Anyway, looking forward to the next 2- 4 months here as we should be getting some juicy updates, news and maybe even the odd surprise (hopefully not nasty ones!). I'm not expecting a JV or anything like that in the near term, am happy to hold whilst the company develops a bit more. GLA decent Coplers, our time will come.
Quick check in. Great to see the RNS this morning, very encouraged by this solicitude on the part of the company in keeping its shareholders in the loop. Very clear timeline for completion of Cuda, no slippage, which for me is a real catalyst for this share as it unlocks things in so many areas. A bit of patience required, but not too long in the grand scheme. And there clearly is a grand scheme falling into place, piece by piece. Great start to the new week after a cracking bank holiday. Great to see all the green boxes, nice to think of them having to work so hard to deramp - that has to mean that they know their time is running out. GLA honest and decent investors. See you when the next news drops, shouldn't be too far away. Bise
Notwithstanding the accounting protocols, the company is reaching that tipping point where it has more money coming in than going out. Given where this outfit was three years ago, with the CEO using his own money to keep things afloat, then the turnaround in fortunes has been remarkable, and it is becoming very exciting, as you say 3LP. Going off on a bit of a tangent, I'm also struck how often AM makes sure to highlight the 'green' credentials of the Wyoming set-up. Going forward this will be very important, so he is right to do so. It is hard to see oil exploration as 'green' in any way, but I'm of the view that it will remain a necessary environmental evil for many years - being perceived to be protective of the environment, with low emissions, solar panels etc, will give the company a competitive edge as regulation gets tighter and tighter as we go forward. I've been very critical of AM in the past but I fell he is really rising to the challenge.
Agreed LargeGin, things are lining up geopolitically so it is a good time for production to be clearly on an upward curve, reserves to be reported on, Cuda to signed and sealed, and for AM to be punting around for some decent RBL. Lots of green boxes on my screen but even the deramp mob can't gainsay the general positive vibe beginning to emanate from this company. Tempted to unblock Coplhodler just to see if they are continuing to make somewhat embarrassingly gauche cultural references..but no, I've promised not to engage with them so I'll keep them green boxed. This company is going places, of that I have no doubt.
Totally agree, Shaa. I've said many times that the acquisition of Cuda is a real catalyst for progress on many fronts for COPL. Regardless of what many posters say on here, I'm one of the few who thinks that the progress the company has made over the last eighteen months has been very impressive, and rapid, especially given the constraints and restrictions brought about by the pandemic, which many people seem to be forgetting. I bought in with a bit of spare cash when we only had Nigeria to consider and now we have an ambitious oil company to watch grow and my holding has grown to what is, for me, a pretty substantial holding. That is very satisfying and I intend to continue to hold to see this play out over the coming years. Sure, it is easy to pick holes in the stitching of the fabric, but the tapestry itself looks like it is taking shape from where I'm standing. I made a mint on Ithaca Energy a few years ago by just focussing on the bigger picture and the company had plenty of knockers who picked holes in it endlessly, on a day by day basis on the BB. Was very satisfying when I saw the ackers in my accouunt when the company got bought out, and I expect something similar to happen here within a couple of years or so.
Well, things seem to be slowly falling into place and the RNA's this week seem to signal a willingness to be more proactive on the news front. I've managed to average down over the last week or so, silver linings and all that. Nice, regular newsflow over the next couple of months please Mr Millholland, and we should see a decent and sustainable upward trajectory. Usual caveats about risks etc, but pretty happy with the company's recent progress and the future could be quite exciting. GLA decent holders, our time will come.
Even more pertinently, have they outlined their investment case here yet? They and Ironsnide have always claimed to be invested but I honestly can't remember saying the reasons why they are optimistic enough to hold shares in this company. I'm guessing they are still supplying a constant litany of reasons why not to invest here.
Things are starting to come together nicely here. Cuda was always going to be the catalyst to unlocking the potential here. I'm pretty relaxed about the placing as the added value far outweighs the short-term squeeze on the SP. Irritating that it allows the derampers and traders to do their usual thing of telescoping all the focus onto minute by minute movements and to spin everything in the most negative fashion. Staggering that posters like Gold/LB28 are able to post 30+ posts per day seven days a week. I mean, what the hell kind of way to live a life is that, FFS?! For me, we have made massive progress in short order, and nothing is really priced in yet. I even think that there might well be more placings going forward but I wouldn't give a flying feck if we end up with half a billion shares but a company worth a couple of billion quid. My 30k investment will still be worth multiples of that. Nothing is risk-free, and there are clearly many hurdles to overcome, I just don't need anyone else pointing that out 24/7, nor does any other LTH. I'm pretty excited about the next two years though, but am not going to waste my life posting on here every waking minute. That's for the sad, the lonely and the lost. GLA decent Coplers, see you when the next news lands.
Very amusing to see how well-aimed AM's barbed comments towards this Winnifrith character were. The latter's replies are just the pathetic ripostes of a bully who doesn't like it when they get hit back. If anyone bases their investment decisions on the intemperate outbursts of this clown then you really need to get out of this casino.
Quick check. Plenty of green boxes, so assuming Gold/LB28 and Ironhide are still here deramping as per usual. Let me guess, they are making out that the ONLY thing that can explain the price action simply HAS to be a low-ball placing in the background blah, blah, blah, blah, blah ad nauseam. That pair of mofos have been saying that almost daily for months now and they say it with such confidence but they are ALWAYS wrong. Tiresome, boring, and very lonely people. Ignore, filter and forget them. Ok, I'll check out now, will look in again once Cuda lands, one way or t'other. GL all decent Coplers.
Ok, so I put DJH, Gold, ironsnide back in the naughty boxes. Suggest others do the same, judging by the number of green boxes I can see. If you do, please remember to provide adequate water and ventilation and copious amounts of Anusol to sooth their scorched derrières. Maybe if you're feeling particularly benevolent, you could provide a rubber ring or something similar as they've really had a proper shafting today. Poor souls.
Dammit, I've given myself a treat and temporarily let Gold, Iron and DJH out of their green isolation boxes just so I could see their reactions after that cracking message from our leader. I've just asked the wife if she was cooking bacon, which would have surprised me as she's vegan, and then I realised it was the mouth-watering smell of these shorters sizzling in the frying pan of Art's full-frontal assault on them. Made my bloody day. Ok, back in the box they can go now. Well done all who held strong in the teeth of their concerted assault. Chapeau if you had the cajones to top up at the silly prices too. I did, brought the average down quite a bit.
I'm so tempted to let GoldLB28 and DJH out of their green box solitary confinement just so I can savour the panicky posts they are clearly posting form others' responses to them. Must be beautiful to witness the scum being caught out and trying desperately to scramble back up the cliff. I almost don't care if the SP tanks now as knowing that they are feeling some pain has made my day, come what may. I won't unbox them though, just in case I catch something nasty from them. GLA
Yeah, DJH only turns up after the event to tell us what we already know. Classic brainless deramper. Has only been here since the drop. They must like the view inside the green box. In you go, back in the naughty room with the other abusers.
