This is just a repeat of Flybe ! Who believes that fastjet BOD did not know about this. BOD ‘ always consult major shareholders especially when Re financing issues are on the agenda... this company has stated as much in the past. Small shareholders are being managed and manipulated. Seems to me the major shareholders are jumping fast and the majority shareholder is going to end up with the assets under the financing charge.
Sorry.... did someone say “Flybe “ ???
Haha I am with you on that one !
Put your money where your mouth is. Have a wager with me... and stick to it.
I am sorry but by now I think someone for some reason is taking the “pi—“. This is a good company with good prospects. There not saying that there going bust soon They are saying that they are exploring different ways to fund the future. They are constantly marketing and promoting the future. I ask the dim wits did they expect the BOD to clear substantial debt by taking a credit note for an aircraft. I do think there is purposeful manipulation of the share price and the true status of buys and sells is not properly and appropriately being disclosed. Why ? I think someone is buying up the stock. The substantial investors are not selling. I am a shareholder in other aviation company’s down there and there of comparable size all are making good headway and see a future. When the news brakes it will be to late to invest here. Finally I really wish people on here would stop flying insults and repetitive crap. For me , I bought more today and going all the way. I note that the majority of the yappers on her if they put money in it’s only a few hundred hardly big time investing for the amount they write. Stick with it ! Oh not pumping readers will have long forgotten what I wrote come Monday.
What crap. Have you nothing better to say than speculative nonsense
I don’t agree. The past history of this company has not been good to shareholders but I believe the future will.
In all circumstances it’s done well to survive at all. The company operates in an exceptional market place not like that of the western world. The BOD have made some good moves of late if only covid had not knocked them back. There not going bust , not this year at least. There is talk in South Africa of takeovers and amalgamations. There are some high profile people as well over there routing for the company. If as planned the new company is formed as planned that has to be a good thing as well. I for one will be sticking with this and yes I am a shareholder and have been for a long time. Oh I believe the 94k was a purchase. I note as well major shareholders are sticking with it as well.
Well I will stand in the group signed idiots. Talking about idiots really wish they would go and suck their thumb somewhere else.
What are you guys doing ? Your stupid banter is scaring small investors who are panicking for no real reason.
Lots of silly small sales which is dragging the price down. Non of you acknowledge the substantial purchases yesterday that have not sold out. The company is doing really well in circumstances beyond its control. I actually think the company will come up with a better plan to clear the rest of the debt rather than sell out. Non ... non of you have really done your research in to other South African airways which are doing well and have common interested people as do fastjet. Join the dots. PLEASE STOP THE OFFENSIVE ATTACKS !
Thank you for your valid contribution
Why oh why do these chats inevitably end up with complete D..ks talking crap and flying insults. We are investors act with decency and respect please. I for one am sick of it. I wrote months ago about some of what I know and just got gob of abuse, so I kept what I know to myself. No I don’t have multiple accounts. Yes I am a substantial shareholder compared to the silly amounts I see being traded. Truth is there really aren’t many real traders that is those that by more than a million. You need to do your research, look at airlines in South Africa and what the company said about buying profitable airlines in the future. Please minority grow up or go play somewhere else !
Time to get more
Ok. So the company makes a announcement. Why ?
What company seeks to control the share price and why. ?
What are they acting for the good of us shareholders.. maybe they will make a announcement when we should buy and sell. THINK NOT ??
Seems to me any company that is taking payment for tickets in the knowledge that it may go pear shape should not be trading !!
No I think this particular announcement is in relation to its proposed deal to sell part of the company off. Seems fastjet BOD don’t want the price going up as it increases the value of the company and is detrimental to its negotiations Any one knows if any company was about to go under it does not need to wait 2-3 weeks to come to a decision. My view is get in while you can. You have all seen how fast the share price can rise. The BOD are active hence why they knocked a huge chunk of debt off.
Definitely time to get back in here.
Should be able to get back in at this rate before they go up. Fingers crossed
Well that’s burst my bubble. Was hoping some negative chat would pull this back so we could get back in for more. Seems the new bottom is going to be at a higher level.
Same people just try to be the focus of attention and talk absolute crap. That’s the problem on here most good investors and contributors. But we have got some that try to sabotage the site dragging the chat of into insults. For my part I was asked to copy in my info sent to me from a pal in South Africa..... what to tell the idiots on here that set fourth on cheap attacks on others???
For my part I will be buying in more Monday, i hope the idiots drag the price down.
Fastjet Group had signalled in March that it sufficient resources to meet operational needs until the end of June.
It says it has reduced monthly cash burn – assuming zero revenue from Fastjet Zimbabwe and its charter carrier Federal Airlines – to $550,000. It had cash reserves of $1.88 million on 3 April.
But it insists that Fastjet Zimbabwe has several “pillars of strength” including a low cost base, paid-off Embraer ERJ-145 jets, and support from authorities in Zimbabwe. Fastjet Group adds that the operation is set to benefit from lower fuel prices once flights restart.
Since then they have cleared 2.2 million debt. Set up new routes and stated they are looking to purchase new profitable airlines once debt dealt with.
I think there is more to come here. People should do there South Africa homework. I will be buying more Monday. Hopefully a bit of selling will bring the price down. New team getting to grips with this company. Don’t think I would be lending cash to a company if I thought it was going belly up. But don’t listen to me.
