I'm talking about the short term traders who give it the big bull investment case and when they've sold their granny for a 5er the stock becomes the absolute pitts overnight.

The fact is that some of us have supported this company for years through thick and thin and others have flitted in and out when it suits.

We might all have the same paper at the end of the day but there's the small matter of loyalty and integrity, rather than chasing the overnight coin.

What i can't abide is short term traders because they didn't get their takeover yesterday. These people don't run the company,, they have short term positions they'd flog at the drop of the hat.

If people want to trade then go ahead, but leave the running of the company to management. If a takeover isn't within yours or their time horizon they it's just tough luck I'm afraid.

Addicknt - there's no guarantee that large scale dilution would take place. The resolution is there to give them the headroom should it be required.

There's an equity portion of Alpala development funding to come alomg with what must be a growing budget for regional exploration.

With the discovery at Porvenir and the rapid development plan this company is now a multi-project beast. The treasury can't be juggled for one or two priorities any longer. There are 14 projects to move along with Cascabel.

RK1, the problem here is that you simply want to milk SOLG as quickly as possible. You'd pretty much take the first bid you're offered providing it was completely derisory.

Some of us see the bigger picture with SOLG. We see the potential empire that can be built in Ecuador based on numerous tier 1 mines. We see the potential to become the nex BHP rather than be swallowed by them for a bargain.

SOLg should be one holding in a baanced portfolio and you should keep money separate to play your FTSE stocks.

This has so much further to run but it's obvious it won't get the chance because the turkeys are going to facilitate a firesale.

It's very simple. Vote for all resolutions and you give yourselves the bes chance of achieving anything close to a fair value. Vote against and you can kiss goodbye to anything resembling fair.

That has alwaya been the big question from a corporate point of view N2S. I can't claim to know the answer but the fact they remain involved and have supported a raise when the time has been right confirms the long term view.

It is Nick Mather that is staunchly against JVs. He is well on record for SOLG confirming his view and the logic behind it. It's worth bearing in mind at the end of the day that his company gave birth(for want of a better phrase) to IRR and maintains a healthy stake.

Before anyone takes my words too literally by the way, this isn't me saying that management will never ever enter into a JV, but they certainly won't do it if it doesn't make sound sense for the company and it's shareholders. There's plenty of commentary out there on how we have already been screened by major companies and i believe it's a case of looking at how a deal may shape up at certain points in the project development cycle, i.e. before the maiden drill campaign vs after an initial resource estimate.

The point is that IRR won't want to give away the upside. They will derisk as much as they can with the resources they have. It might be the difference between giving 70% away and giving 30% based on the comparison mentioned above.

It's not that the company are scared of joint ventures at all, however, certain associated directors are expressly against them. I have made this point very clear.

What else can i say but look at the corporate model. DGR, Assore and Sumitomo are not going to sit with strategic stakes whilst management give away 60/70/80% of a project in return for an earn-in type of arrangement.

You need to not think about what works best in terms of getting the share price up because that isn't the focus here.

The deal with Geodrill was a necessity. It allowed us to get on the ground in Ghana and at Zaranou whilst equity markets for junior resource companies were at their absolute lowest in 2H 2019.

If Geodrill want to sell some of that equity then that's their choice. There is probably pressures on that business like there is on almost every business that wouldn't have been there in a world without Covid.

We just have to be patient. Let things take their course.

Good results this morning. Quite happy with those, given as CD pointed out, that we've passed through the edge of the modelled deposit. Bodes well for the holes targetting the vey core of the deposit.

The 7p raise didn't really tug at my heartstrings either :-D

But it brought AIM placee farmers in who maybe otherwise wouldn't have looked at the company.

AIM in general is a sell on news type of party. I've given up trying to rationalise it. Rightly or wrongly some people read the RNS this morning, saw the clear reference to this being the last P2 results and decided to dump some or all and buy back cheaper.

It isn't specific to IRR but it certainly gets felt the most here.

Every milestone is a step closer. P3 results, Zaranou MRE, Ghana value adders, Chad progress update and hopefully all the while the macro backdrop will continue to edge into our favour.

Well it is pretty easy Mike29 let's be honest. Whilst my earlier comment was a suggestion or advice in any way it is a personal observation noted after 4 years of being invested here.

Happy to listen to any other explanation why the news is repeatedly sold. When you take our "small free float" into account it simply shouldn't happen to the extent it does.
