I don't need to ask BHP DBW. They are opposing Nick because they're trying to grab control without paying what Nick and management thinks is fair for our assets.

I struggle to understand why people invest in a better company if they aren't supportive of management long term.

Management is important to me in delivering the final results. There's a company that have dropped some very promising drill results this last couple of weeks but the management is awful, so I haven't invested.

That's my thought process in selecting companies.

There has been plenty of news from SOLG in recent weeks. Porvenir and Cascabel updates. Management updates and governance updates. A bit of a quiet time over the festive holidays yes but aside from that there has been plenty to read and digest since October 2020.

I just shared the long term vision of the CEO and am annoyed that this won't now play out.

Unfortunately for us all there are no guarantees for 80p now, next month or within the next year. We are now in the hands of the majors who will stick is in their crusher and pulp us to a level they're happy with.

You can make any case you like for this being "SP positive" but you have said yourself that it's questionable whether Nick stays invested. Thus then becomes a game of musical chairs where everyone is watching for Nick to sell and the music stopping.

You are quick to point out how you have been correct with pretty much everything you have said but you seem not to take I to account that if you're BHP and you want SolGold cheaply then you have no motive to do any deal with a CEO trying to obtain fair value for his shareholders. But no, it's all Nick's bloody mindedness.
