RE: A thought repeated18 Jan 2021 20:05
To be fair Addicknt I can't say I'd be too incentivised to give a rallying call and an insight on company strategy when I've got my 3 biggest shareholders concerting against me to steal over a decade of hard work.
We as PIs are just an unfortunate party caught in the crossfire. I'm pretty sure it's nothing personal.
Lets not forget that BHP and NCM weren't forced to collude with Irwin. They did so because they thought they could oust Mather.
They wouldn't have been happy if the $100m study budget equity was raised with Barrick, Rio or anyone else and they weren't happy with the Franco streaming, therefore, they were always going to be put out when Mather didn't hand them the keys last spring.
You have said yourself you don't want this flogged cheap, so by default you have to be in favour of Mather not giving them equity at a time when the markets were in a tailspin due to fears of Covid.
