What is the point in CGP worrying about the SOLG share price? There's nothing they can do about it. Control the controllables.

Their priority is securing a deal on their direct interest.

The whole premise that CGP must know something because they've been quiet is just one of those elaborate PI thought processes to secure a crumb of comfort amongst a bed of thorns.

Whilst my comments admittedly were tongue in cheek firstly they were also pre-emptive of the mechanics of any arrangement. We'd all love SOLG to act from a position of strength but it's not as if BHP can't see how long our cash runway lasts and their interpretation of that likely dictates their actions, i.e. play hard ball until SOLG are skint in the hope SOLG have to offer a discount.

The only risk for them is that someone comes in over the top and blows them out of the water. What are the chances? Pretty minimal in all likelihood.

CD - i must admit this is a bit of a step away from your usually reasoned and logical output.

We'reon the same page re the dilution, my point being that SOLG took in $150m (inc the Franco and Valuestone monies) for that 4-5% equity dilution you mention.

The question of how much more we'll need is a fair one but are we going to see that on hugely dilutive terms? I'm not so sure. That harms assumed non-participants in CGP and DGR.

I do also think you're confusing the sterilisation drilling with exploration drilling. My feeling is that the former has unearthed this whole dilemma and prompted an exploration drilling campaign which has yielded this early discovery.

That aside i do hear you on the general sentiment in terms of BHP and NCM potentially exerting more influence now. That is a concern for me but not something i can do anything about. The next raise will outline exactly who is driving the bus.

However the 17/12 update gives good context on the abundance of chalcopyrite noted and the relation to the quartz diorite noted within thr Alpala high grade core.

The variable with SOLG is there was a load of punters banking on the PFS and subsequent fam out of cascabel or sale of the company in Q1 or shortly after.

Thst may not happen now and that's why we've had toys thrown in many directions in recent days.

Mine is based on facts. The company raised a huge amount of funding for cascabel and regionals in 2020/21 for only a small amount of equity dilution.

It was a job well done for the small shareholder at a time where dilution could hsve been very expensive.

Criticise them by all means but not for that.

If i may make a suggestion, you guys could do worse than read the Cascabel Tandayama America update from 17th Dec and the Blanca extract from the recent regional round up.

Both, particularly the Cascabel release, are quite illuminating.

I think that news was missed by the market and shareholders, maybe as it was so close after the AGM.

Well when you consider that the share price plunged towards 10p 3 short months before the raise in question, some may take the view that 21.5p was fair in that it didn't dilute LTH but didn't impale new investors right onto a share price spike.

The company raised over £100m in cash during a global health emergency with minimal equity dilution yet it still gets used as a stick to beat them...

Anybody could buy shares on market on the day the raise was announced at 7.3-7.5p. Plenty of LTHs did.

They also had the opportunity to buy shares at the warrant price 4 weeks ago just before the last lot of announcements.

Any resource explorer that doesn't have production revenue will need to use the primary market. Open offers usually lead to bigger discounts so it's a case of being careful of what you wish for.

It was Shipright but every company was subject in the same market conditions.

My point stands using the 1 Jan price.
