The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
They also said they were 'drilling in 3 weeks' Starchild - this is a less than credible BoD imho and I their arrogance towards ordinary private investors.
Regarding someone else's comment; "There are many more scenarios out there too. It would be nice to stick to them rather than the animosity of recent weeks."
The 'animosity', dare I suggest, is from those suddenly deciding that any contrary opinion to the 'YES' that the majority uphold......should be shouted down and regardless of any argument presented to the contrary of said 'Yes' vote.
Those saying 'sell up and go' are equally idiotic, imho.
Many of us not wanting the Merger have held for many long years, hence have e very right to VOTE NO and articulate that view on the BB.
It's like the McCarthy witch hunts with many of you guys....!
'Animal Farm' at its worst!

A dry hole will be catastrophic for the BPC share price either way, so why have an extra circa Billion shares issued (on top of the other dilution expected) and for meagre assets.
Vote NO imo
Nvwatohiyada O-gi-na-li - as Laallee would say!

"Theres nothing unique about message boards being manipulated for personal agendas" - Starchild
Do you not think you (and many of the 'Pro Merger' crowd) are guilty of that yourself...!!
What's disappointing is that legitimate holders of the stock are being drowned out and attempted to be 'shut down'......all for having an opposing viewpoint.
I've used official company statements to justify my arguments.....and not 'flights of fancy' of what might be under someone's sleeve.....in 'Eureka moments' of supposed insight...??
Now to start making threats of London Stock Exchange involvement is laughable Starchild - do you think posters here are quaking in their boots.
You obviously dont u understand the concept of free speech - especially when as fellow shareholders in the same company.....we have every right to such......and our NO vote!
Stop being a little Napolean!!
An 'interesting' evening on the board last night - fortunately some very informed posters here, who addressed certain erroneous points made.
One was that Mike Buck CEO, had no discussion with Petro China regarding a Parternership agreement to develop the Heron field.
Refer to the following presentation by Mike Buck - 15min 40 sec in - he clearly states the contrary and that Petro China have also stated they can drill the wells at the best rate, which Buck agrees on.
https://youtu.be/QVBJVi-6gy4
Other potential partners in the O&G sector were also being considered.
This is a very exciting time for Petro Matad and its shareholders, so no doubt the BB will attract its share of those spreading 'disinformation' etc
It's probably easier for them just to secure their own position and wait the transformational news pieces due - given many if the very well informed contributors here.
Atb & have a good day all
"Lame is now the chatter elsewhere. LOL"
Thank you for your 'contribution' there Jay - I'm looking forward to applying a more critical assessment of the investment here and beyond the somewhat shallow treatment of key issues that are 'conveniently' skimmed over.
Atb & have a good evening all
"Without this data there can be no meaningful discussion about a Farm In"
Is that why we get Farm ins, JV, Partnerships all the time on various projects, whether they be exploratory wells, appraisal prospects or otherwise.
You weren't even aware that MATD were initiating discussions with Petro China, point blank denying it.....and needing the appropriate presentation being pointed out to you.
Refer to the recent Company statement on specifics regarding Heron 1 and associated presentations 'fleshing out' the details - I think for most people, doing so will more than clarify the respective views presented here.
Atb & have a good evening all.
Shares dont necessarily go up in a straight line NoEasy - this is a very basic concept and hence the underlying fundamentals should be assessed.
This was sitting at 0.035p only a few weeks ago was it not and the fundamentals of the aforementioned companies are significantly stronger for impending rises, imo.
Please attempt a sensible post to warrant my time in reading it and I may continue this communication, if I deem that to be the case.
Atb
'You bought MATD at circa 3p and yet touted it at 7.5p.' - Indeed and certainly expect it to get into double figures imminently and back to circa 50p on further field development.
Yu. was previously around £12 so referring to upside from £1.75 isn't a major issue, especially as I have my complete holding intact and am well aware of the issues responsible for its price deterioration - and resolution of said issues to underpin its price appreciation going forward.
Anything else NoEasy?
I think you presume to know the extent of discussions taking place with Petro China.... after having previously asserted that 'no discussions even took place.....and being caught out by Mike Buck's own assertion to the contrary.
I'm accepting the CEOs own statement - 'Partnership talks with Petro China'
Atb
I'll tell you what Capt Stanley, instead of all that diatribe, let individual investors look at the validity or not of any arguments presented - I had to go over the previous video link to addtess the previous point you so erroneously stated (emphatically) about Mike Buck 'not having Partnership discussions with Petro China..!
Here are a couple of links to start with - saves on your constant efforts, not doubt recognising now is certainly NOT a good time to be on the sidelines!

"MATD is a duster expert," - trying g doing your research!
It already has an existent commercial asset, is in partnership talks with Petro China and is 3expecting company transformational news shortly!
Regarding COPL, I seem to have called it right EVERY single time - probably because I'm pretty experienced at looking at the pertinent issues within a wider perspective......and being able to 'correctly' put the pieces together.
I'll let the chronic whingers keep whingeing!

Let everyone make up their own minds after listening to it - ;)

No, I'm aware that we had a global pandemic hit us!
The point you initially questioned was that about his discussions with Peyro China regarding a Partnership - it's clear, from Mike Buck himself, that said discussions were to be initiated at the time of the presentation I linked to.
Not sure how anyone can say theres 'no chance' of that Partnershio, give the aforementioned discussions and that they're no where close to those.

Pete, withthe greatest respect - stop being a Baby!
No ones 'ruining' anything. This is a discussion forum and you may disagree with my opinions but at least I've provided a rationale as to why I have a certain stance on the merger.
I'm not against BPC - just the merger!
