If Art delivers here, COPL should dwarf TYMs circa 325% rise yesterday but multiples.....and why people are desperately looking to hold some stock at these levels.

If not, then the flipside is as previously discussed and should be acknowledged.

Hmmm.....did a dummy trade just out if curiosity with all the positive spiel going on here (yes, I do hold stock).

It seems like there is a shortage of stock, with my full allotment willing to be snapped up......and any further dummy BUY, even a limited amount, going straight to NT.

Let's see what happens and whether the early signs of an Uptrend take the price to the 0.2p technical projection......and more importantly whether it's a precursor to something more tangable.

This needs to be resolved either way.

Well, I would say he's certainly sitting on a huge pile of black something.......!!

Having said that and purely from a price perspective, we have noted the more regular 'pushes' on the SP and the less pronounced retraces.....giving us some greater stability at the higher levels and as more pronounced Buying occurs on those dips.

We can forward any number of theories for the underlying reason and perhaps because we are finally getting to the point where a more definitive answer to this Saga will be provided.

My views are known and I'm still holding my speculative position for any chance that Art may indeed (finally) have delivered something beyond the usual rhetoric.....we don't actually even get that atm though.

Agreed Keith and no doubt a view shared by many who have actually noted the very different playing field that we're on, as opposed to the past.

As I posted earlier 'many of the hurdles that prevented drilling previously, including the various legislative barriers now overcome, the road to a succesful conclusion for the Farm is a much changed one - and of course the Company's stronger financial base and established timeline to drilling'

This isn't like past times and why regardless of our current financial standing to be able to go it alone, the Company have emphasised in recent RNSs AND Interviews, the current Farm in talks and that STILL being Plan A!

I think we'll get that announcement any day now, hence certainly wouldn't be out of the larger story unfolding here.

I still think BPC will likely be one of the biggest successes on AIM this year, as it progresses to drilling its potentoal World class resource.

Etyan from BPC stated in his interview that 'pennies would be pretty meanongless' when viewed from the perspective of the Upside potential - I think I'd go with the opinion of someonr who should know significantly more than us lot here.

Any proportion of the 'upto' 40M shares has yet to be seen, itrespective of the prevailing share price and as we saw with the Mutual Fund takeup - as IK said, it's essentially a PR exercise for BPC targeting a limited number of 'high influence / profile/rich individuals, who are still likely to only be able to take up only a proportion of said shares - no matter how discounted they are.

The Farm In TNS wont wait but will be released shortly imo, as the Company's priority is the drilling campaign and not manoevering of price, at this stage.

Agree, the FARM IN is coming, imo and something I've been confident on along with others.

BPC have consistently been in comms with 'potential Partners' for many years, albeit one wonders how far reaching those comms were in previous times.

With many of the hurdles that prevented drilling previously, including the various legislative barriers now overcome, the road to a succesful conclusion for the Farm is a much changed one - and of course the Company's stronger financial base and established timeline to drilling.

You get a sense of things through the very specific wording used in RNSs and the various interviews with key personell.

With the constant references to the continued negotiations with several potential Partners and emphasis on such, despite our strong funding situation, it looks like 'Plan A' ie a Farm in Partner, will be happening, imo.

I'm expecting said Farm in announcement shortly and the associated mega Rise off that!

I've been consistent in my opinion so certainly not 'changing' anything, but will state said opinion in a reasoned way (to help you understand), if I'm personally asked about it - as you & others did sevetal times LB28.

I still HOLD as long as there's some chance, no matter on the remoteness of it (that can be debated), that some form of deal can be struck amongst the respective parties / alt finance arranged.

The Upside v downside scenario makes that an easy decision for me and within the parameters of the risk profile attached to that part of my PF.

OB is correct in what he says, as the more reasonable posters have tried to point out and regardless of the threaths of bodily violence (amongst others) etc that have come from some quarters.

The answer is quite obvious and as stated previously - if indeed some form of 'alternative finance' is being arranged, then the talk of 1p plus can indeed be in the cards - the flipside is a complete loss of any shareholder value.

What are the chances of the respective scenarios?

My own position has been clearly put across and I've seen nothing that changes my mind on that - certainly with no 'certainty' as many with an opposing viewpoint are suggesting - we all remember the 'impossible placing' Jay12 was trying to force down peoples throaths and based on his 'years of experience' etc.

However, given the extreme Upside potential and accepting there is no certainty in any outcome (likelihoods aside), I'll retain my holding here in the hope that something tangable regarding progress does manifest - if not, I can (fortunately) quite easily absorb any resultant loss.

It's been interesting to note the underlying Buying pressure as others no doubt see the possibility at least, of a potential (if not likely) 10 bagger or whatever people like to call it.

Let's see if that Buying pressure sustains or its back to the usual.

Let those in charge handle it - I doubt anything will be 'signed out to someone else for a better offer', if arrangements have already been made witg Seadrill.

The respective parties will have their mutually agreed timelines in place, so imposing them externally with no idea of said arrangements isn't particularly helpful and indeed may mislead, imho.
