Let's have some clarity here as anything posted that even marginally opposes a certain viewpoint, gets deluged with abuse.

If we look at things more objectively, we find that there's nothing to be threathened by.

Let's start off with something we cal all agree on - If Art Millholland delivers on this, it'll be an absolutely Massive rise with a continuing upside, dwarfing most of what you'll ever see in the markets.

We have a currently precarious cash position, which the CEO has managed to shore up with his own money (excuse the pun).

A placing isn't a given so there certainly is no need to get hysterical - it may be necessary and we can all agree or disagree on the respective likelihoods of such - there should be room for that here and not the 'bully boy' tactics some resort to.

The flipside is that the CEO is closer to the action then we are and has indeed put up his own funds, perhaps envisaging a very near term resolution to the various issues pertinent to COPLs progression towards drilling.

For me, the main thing is that there is no immanent liquidation, we do have a better chance at a placing if required.....and the opportunity exists to actually get the aforementioned near term resolution to realize that massive rise we would all want.

That's why I still hold the stock.

I hold stock and have been consistent in that since my first foray into this punt - unlike a lot if the 'Usual Suspects' who are effectively doing a co-ordinated 'RINSE & REPEAT' Ramping campaign here.

I'd like to think my posts are Fair & Balanced within that environment and reflecting the very High Risk profile of COPL and its hazardous Cash position, whilst ackowledging the potential upside.

I hope that helps you.....but more importantly those not wishing to be deluded whilst assesing this investment.

I think it gives him breathing space and the little 'kick' in the SP, to organise another Placing.

That's not necessarily a bad thing if we view the alternative as the company going into Liquidation.

It also perhaps explains some of the very large, 'Consistent' sells over the last few weeks.

Morning Shamima and yes, we can look forward to a raft of Newsflow over a very short timeframe.

I don't know if you remember DANA Petroleum headed by Tom Cross. It started as a minnow and was eventually bought out by KNOC for circa £1.8 Billion.

All of us would have liked to have been in that from the early days - aa others have mentioned,BPC now gives us a chance to be involved in a similar story playing out.

Vey exciting time to be in this stock at this time.

Fair enough Eyeguy, it must have been that other chap who was trying to talk down a stock that's rapidly moving towards drilling a 'Middle East' sized prospect.

It's good that COPL at least have that short term lifeline and to negotiate what many are anticipating will be another Placing, to extend said lifeline.

Although that's not ideal and given the extent of further dilution, it's preferable to the lights effectively being turned off.

Most previous RNSs and interviews have stressed that a deal was 'imminent' or some like Jay12 were told 'News about to be released'- we're now a few more years down the line and any news is as likely to be another cash call.

I'll retain my punt here as I have over the last year or so but very cognizant of the Company's history of leading PIs astray somewhat and the still critical cash situ of COPL.

Agree with those sentiments KaiSharp but let's see what tomorrow brings - I suspect if there's no further news, we may have another sell off but who knows.

It was good to see Millholland put his own money up, regardless of its limited size and not just to see us go straight to liquidation.

That could indeed be a point to a near term development but could equally (perhaps more likely some would argue), be used as a short term price catalyst or bridging funding, leading up to a more substantive Placing.

We know in the past that Millholland has used 'short term PR' to sweeten a placing, so that could be a very likely development.

Obviously the flipside scenario also exists so let us see how this plays out - an opporrunity for further profit taking or perhaps some buying to stabilise the price...??

Thanks IK, just focusing on UK listed stocks atm and not overly keen on the alt energy sector at this juncture, albeit certainly not discounting it.

I really do think we have what it takes to have that Dana Peteoleum type rise here and with the sheer size of potential resources targeted.

I know lots of other potential stocks abound but just focusing on BPC atm and with the volume of Newsflow due in the coming few days.

Sure Pr0spect and why many of us are here, rather than in Berkshire Hathaway, BP......or indeed one of the multitude of other 'tin pot', underfunded Aim stocks.

BPC, at this juncture, presents one of those aforementioned Opportunities, imo.

Accepting the usual caveats with stocks, the main point I was emphasising was the timing of any profit taking, current levels viewed as a fraction of what we can reasonably expect at other key milestones and importantly pre & post, actual drill results.

I'll may take something off the table to cover my principal amount invested, but certainly much further down the line and to preserve maximum retention within the investment, after the aforementioned principal amount removal.

I'm buying into what Etyan stated (and underpinned by the geology and my own experiences in the market) - 'a penny here or there will be inconsequential to the Upside we can expect' - again, accepting usual caveats etc.

I bought some Sirius XM (Nasdaq) when the price was c 3 Cents, albeit my UK broker charged me 3p
- I took profits at around 26p but it's now worth well over $7!!

Each investment case is different but ones with the (genuine) potential Upside that BPC presents, are few & far between.

This is more than anything, a singular opportunity to realistically make one of those oft looked for type of rises and off a strong platform going forward - the BoD are doing everything right to take us there.

Eyeguy, you & LB28 were critical of BPC - have you even looked at what's happening there?

There's a reason why I'm so Positive about it being potentially, the biggest gainer on Aim this year, so don't be so dismissive.

Regarding copl, let's see what next week brings and will retain my punt here, regardless of the usual profit taking etc.

If that was the case, before the 9th of March would be a likely time for an announcement and relative to the CLN date.

Plenty of Newsflow due to support that!

Next week should be stellar and leave current levels far behind.

As long as it opens up the option for Institutional investors by being a £100M mkt cap company, we can at least expect some inward investment from that quarter.

Some Institutions may shun carbon related investments and just as there's a sub sector targeting 'ethical investing'......however, let's not kid ourselves into thinking that constitutes any significant part of Institutional investment strategy overall.

Given the potential afforded by such a gateway now opening up to Institutional buying power in a predominantly retail held stock, the impact on an Upward projection of the price can be very significant indeed......even smaller Fund holdings in BPC could have a major impetus to the Upward moving share price.

No LB28, I hold stock but have been consistent in saying that this is a 'punt' for me and BPC is a genuine, 'megastock', fully funded and with a very near term drill approaching - world class targeting a multi billion barrel resource.

Todays rns here was a positive step, so please grow up with your contributions here.

The selling into close is to be expected tbh but what we have in today's RNS, is a lifeline to the company until a Placing can be arranged.

Those stating the cash negative position of the company were quite correct, however the CEO has stepped up with the 200k as per the RNS.

I don't expect any immanent news, but do think today's news has added further interest to the investment, albeit still very high risk (and the associated high reward of course).

Still a 'punt' as opposed to my much bigger BPC holding but one I'm comfortable holding at the current limited exposure level.
