MATD did pretty well as part of the start of its push - a little silver lining for todays 'healthy' slight dip with BPC, albeit no doubt it'll be pushing back up soon.

I don't feel that's necessarily the case Moveonup, albeit I can't fully discount it either.

What I see playing out is only the start of a building up of price momentum and linked to the timeframe for the Exploitation License as indicated by the CEO.

Many stocks in the absence of newsflow can overeact on the price one way or the other - MATD is probably sitting at way too a discounted level, given its Oil find and plans towards full field development, along witg its other assets.

It HAS oil and will be transitioning to production, notwithstanding the other initiatives such as ongoing talks with PetroChina.

The Momentum should pick up pace imo and as we look towards the significant transition to the aforementioned 'producer' status.

Sure, but we didn't have expectationd for mumtiple Newsflow in such a condensed period of time Prospect......and we're actually beginning to mobilise towards Drilling.

This should blast through 5p within days, imho with only a very short time frame indeed for a 'price breather'

Many will take advantage of that in the next trading day or so to push the price as indicated, imo

That's a £51K single BUY that came through, so someones very confident indeed.

We are expecting RNSs on multiple fronts in a very condensed timeframe, so let's see!

It should be higher than today by the end of the week anyway and for the reasons given previously, as those news timeframes become shorter still.

Possibly dusthater but as with many such stocks looking at particular News Catalysts, there's often a more gradual build up of Momentum prior to the major Re-rate.

In a few weeks time, the price here could be significantly higher and given the access to full development the bear term News would bring.

The RNS could effectively drop any day now or indeed within a few more weeks.

Hello JB, if you look back at my previous posts on that thread, I give my rationale for such and based on expectations for various RNSs at any time now, previous Buying into close and the generally buoyant price as part of the underlying Uptrend.

That's most likely a Confident BUY - look at the respective prices at the time of the trade and it looks like they paid a premium to the prevailing Offer price at the time.

It was in the mid 30p range not so long ago and without even an Oil discovery to its name!

Yes, trades moving up to Full Ask and any slightly larger amounts going straight to NT.

I still expect heavy Buying into the close and in expectation of a morning RNS on one of the multiple areas relevant to the lead up to Drilling - possibly even the Farm in announcement.

I think it's healthy for a stock to have a 'breather' if you like and as nothing goes up in a straight line.

It gives an opportunity to reduce some of the holdings from lower levels and as a precursor for new base entry levels to be established by newer entrants.

It actually sets up a much stronger platform for continued growth, which indeed we can expect given the Newsflow we can expect and leading into Drilling.

I remember Tom Bulford of the old RHPS commenting on people taking profits early - his opinion was that if the price was steadily appreciating based on good expectations, that was a reassuring time to invest more and not derisk - each to their own and that was his particular viewpoint.

I think what's really good to see is the solid support at 5p and fairly mild profit taking off the previous rises - certainly points to a renewal of concerted buying again and this time to a Higher high, as is consistent with an Uptrending price and as we saw with the last bout of profit taking in the 3's.

Double figures soon imho & lots of further RNSs.

I've mentioned this before and should perhaps be something to ponder - regardless of the actual price movement (up or down), it's often very difficult to pick up any decent amount of stock without it going to NT.

A friend had problems picking up less than £150, so can only imagine the difficulties on a sudden good RNS release.

We've also had some singular trades not necessarilyreflecting the risk profile one might attach to COPL.

It seems to add credibility to the suggestion that one or several larger BUY orders are being filled and one would imagine, in anticipation of the transformational news the last RNS alluded to.

That's why regardless of ANY shorter term price movement, I'm retaining my complete holding as earlier stated.

$200k doesn't go far but may go far enough and as indicated in the CEOs statement of the aforementioned RNS.

Interesting times.

The Exploitation Licence - that'll open up aassive gearing up of activity for PetroMatad, who already have a bonefide oil asset in Heron 1!

Then all the rest of the Field Development, Partnerships, Velociraptor etc take place.

Very undervalued imo and set for a spectacular Rise, once the aforementioned licence is officially signed off.
