The article comissioned for Proactive Investors by BPC, clearly states Farm in 'FIRMLY' still on the table - the EA should now see that signed & released in a RNS imo

Lol, lots of people are somewhat upset they've been left on the sidelines - but they're likely the ones frantically Buying straight on open with no doubt many going to NT!

As the proactive investor article points out, we now have multiple News pieces to be released and leading up to the actual drillind - all within the CONFIRMED timeframe.

Don't waste time whingeing - BUY and relax for said further RNSs and the FARM IN, imo.

The FARM IN may overide any need for the CLN, hence why we expect it to be announced ANY day now and before the 9th March....and now the EA has been granted.

The CLN was likely a tool to facillitate the other funding aspects of the upcoming drillung campaign AND to encourage the Farm in partners to conclude a deal on BPCs terms.

The BoD are heavily aligned with shareholder interests.

Really pleased with both my BPC & MATD holdings.

One thing which may be helpful to consider, is the effect the Exploitation License release would have on the Share price.

Given the catalyst said news would be, the immediate and continuing Upside from current levels would be dramatic.

An extended timeframe beyond the end of Q1 may see some stagnation or slight dip in the prevailing price, however expectations for a near term issuance would still be prevalent and for the reasons given.

The price here has been robust in the last couple of days, due to its previous heavily discounted level - we're now daily getting closer to the Exploitation License within the aforementioned timeframe, hence I would reasonably anticipate a greater build up of interest in a previously ignored but highly promising prospect.

I tend to discount one liner, throwaway posts on the stock as I don't think they contribute anything to a productive assesment of the investment case.

However, in the interests of a productive BB, I would always be open to any other reasoned viewpoints, to help us all benefit form the potential I see MATD presenting - also avknowledging usual market caveats etc.

As many of us have speculated, we're likely to get the anticipated FARM IN confirmation at any time before the CLN 9th March timeframe.

As the Proactive Investor article states and having direct conms with the company in commisioning their arricles, the FARM IN is 'FIRMLY' on the agenda.

Today's excellent news opens the way for the final contracts to be concluded and communicated to the market, imo.

Very exciting times ahead & good to be holding BPC.

Not really bryn - if we look at everything else that was going on with the wider market, the drop seems to have been precipitated off the sharp ftse drop at the same time and refering to the intraday chart.

We've had a good rise in a relatively short space of time, so profits were taken off an unstable macro background and no doubt a fair few stop losses were hit to exacerbate the intraday drop. Add to that the sudden influx of posters refering to worst case scenarios, we can see how the short term hysteria was fanned.

I think what's more pertinent is the way strong buying subsequently took over, to log a fairly modest decline in a generally unstable market.

It speaks volumes for the underlying support & interest in this investment, imo.

We all knew we'd have some 'interesting' moments along the way.

I think that's about a 4p conversion price, if we take the lower value.....??

Well, the company drew down the money for a reason and that would be Drilling!

Interesting points Lockedln but every situation is different and I certainly wouldn't assume any deadline with the Exploitation Licence would be delayed due to an association with mixed drill deadlines in the past.

However, you do make an important point insofar as there is no absolute guarantee that the EL will be issued by the end of Q1.....only what many will perceive as more or less likely based on the Confidence displayed by the CEO for such.

My own view is that the CEO is in a much more privelaged position than we are in assessing the likelihood of that timescale being met and would certainly have had some level of feedback through various sources at his disposal - as previously commented on, the largest shareholder here is also very prominently established as within the country's commercial infrastructure, with access to higher level Govt sources.

He's been consistent with his stated 'Confidence' in the Exploitation Licence issuance before tge end of Q1.....hence, literary at any time.

That doesn't discount your viewpoint but perhaps reinforces why there's renewed confidence here.

We can speculate about the effect such an RNS will have on the Share price but given that it would open up a massive upscaling & transition for the company, I would prefer to be holding MATD stock for such.

I think staying away from the screen is a good idea and although some may have traded the dip succesfully.....many would have also found themselves languishing on the sidelines now.

We've seen this before so many of us just observed and refered back to the underlying investment case & the progress made so far to take us to Drilling.

That's firmly in place as we move towards that goal and the Newsflow associated with it.
