Markets should have been closed a while back and regardless of the pithy excuses made for keeping them open. These are extraordinary times and should have been managed as such.

Fear there's still some pain in the Markets to come and given the only mildly positive response to the 750 billion by the ECB.

Let's see how the next few weeks go.

Let's hope it doesn't do what it usually does on any half decent news!

Let's hope they close the Markets for a bit, although not really going to protect is from the Recession!

Hopefully it'll be enough to stop us sliding into the 4p zone, but then again I've sat on this one for years with no return.

There'll be some tempting dividend prospects in some of the blue chips on any signs of wider recovery, which may put further pressure on the price here.

I'm just going to switch off the screen & continue taking my Vitamin C.

In the past, communities have held hands & embraced, when facing times of strife & difficulty....perhaps we should all do that and stand firm against this common enemy!

At the moment, macro market concerns are overiding any stock specific positivity that's around - and we still have the worst of it to come yet.

I just can't see anything really helping atm as any push seems to be sold into and as we move into a full blown recession.

I think the best we can perhaps hope for is some form of price stability for MMX, slveit really wouldn't be surprised if it goes lower yet, as with other stocks and the Market in general.

Lockdown in many forms.

I was walking around town with a pair of rubber (nitrile) gloves on and thoroughly enjoyed a Coffee & pasty, sitting outside the patisserie.

No hugging or coddling strangers - just breathing in good, fresh air (I hope) ;)

The larger Corona virus issue aside, I just can't get worked up about the current share price atm - it is where it is.

I have every certainty that BPC will drill and indeed, the strengthening of their financial position & recent RNSs, only reinforces that.

Do I think I'll make a very significant profit from my holding - YES!

When I do, that'll go straight into buying blue chips, to build up a better revenue stream from dividends going forward, that being my longer term strategy.

That's good enough for me at this juncture as I take comfort in my Coffee, pasty & rubber gloves.

I think you have it right there IK - money needs to be doing something and wont be on the sidelines for long.

It'll be swamped back into equities at some point soon, imo and given the heavily undervalued opportunities out there now - the biggest singular drops having been seen, imo.

Good to see a sharp focus on fiscal stimulation by Trump and initiatives to address the Opec issues.

Buy when others sell (or have sold) couldn't be truer than right now, inho.

As an aside, I take 1000mg vit C 2 or 3 times a day - well above the RDA but they tends to be pretty abitrary anyway.

Just get it in powdered form - pure Ascorbic acid and dilute it in a water bottle.

That's my bit for public health but may actuslly help the immune system somewhat.

Treasury secretary Stephan Mnuchins comments to Republican Senators about not passing Trumps fiscal bill - that'll be addressed and we should see the resurgence of yesterday imo.

There's a strongly proactive stance in addressing the current financial fallout, so I have no doubt that the right message will be relayed regarding that particular issue.

The DOW closed Up 5.2% yesterday, so hopefully a more energetic start to the Markets this morning.

What we can safely say, is that there's a significant amount of funds on the sidelines and waiting to be piled back into equities at some point. I wouldn't presume to know when that will be, albeit Markets usually tend to be ahead of events.

Irrespective, most will be aware of the state of play here and make their own assessments on the investment.

I picked up more stock yesterday and after some difficulty securing such, the trade going to NT multiple times on a relatively modest amount.

If Millholland pulls this off, it will almost certainly be one of the biggest risers we'll likely have seen but only an official RNS will appraise us of such.

The Dow up 5.2% yesterday, so hopefully a good start to the Markets this morning.

Lots of money on the sidelines, which will eventually pile back into highly undervalued equities.

Major show of Confidence by the Bahamian group yesterday in putting forward significantly more capital in the current environment, on a zero coupon basis - they obviously have reassurances on events going forward.

A very positive interview with Simon Potter yesterday with reiteration of the timeline & Farm in 'progress'. Also to note, the fact that current oil prices dont factor into the economics of the project, for those continuing to push that on these discussion forums.

The wider market aside, a very bullish message for BPC holders specifically and well undervalued at current levels by the looks of it.

Good post at 15:32 POC and worth asking that question - why indeed in the current climate especially?

If they're uber confident and closer to developments than we are, perhaps we would do well in asking why / sharing that confidence.

Pretty good day to stand up to general market sentimentvthe way it has - does make you wonder what would happen on any even slight indication of Positive news!

Extremely difficult to pick up stock from my own experience, having added a little more today.

Speculative but very compelling to be holding.
