I think the key question here is, how would this investment be viewed as a 'new prospect' and this particular price level.

That would consider the various more tangible factors such as the likelihood of the Prospectus being cleared, the fact that parties to financing have been willing to participate in such within the current climate, the significant premium of the placing price to the prevailing SP, controlled release and any subsequent disposal of new equity, prospects for macro market recovery.....etc.

I think the Prospectus clearance will be a formality, imo and given the regulators will be well aware of the consequences of not doing so, along with the experience of parties subject to the deal - these aren't 'tin pot's financesrs but parties well experienced in such deals and who would have presented a well constructed case for review.

President Trump has reiterated that the easing of lockdown will continue unabated and regardless of any increasing infection rates, even accepting the uptick in HK etc. - the 'overall' Market recovery should continue accepting transient downturns.

From a fresh perspective and considering the points made, COPL seems heavily discounted atm, imo and I reasonably expect the general price trajectory to the Placing price and major Re-rate once the official RNS is cleared te: Prospectus clearance - the funds from such will certainly give some peace of mind and space to effect the necessary deals, leading to eventual drilling.

25% up on the London Stock Exchange site and - I'd say the interest is there.

Full Ask being paid at close and I suspect, the move towards the Placing price as mentioned previously.

Morning BB, further to the speculation on further Acquisitions to add to the company, I think the buy back is essentially being used to prop up the share price, to facilitate a future Placing required for such, imo - accepting that any such funding requirements would be significantly greater than the cost of the buyback of course.

Toby oft uses private investors to communicate his own narrative to these discussion forums and reflecting his background in the PR sector.

Let's see if we get the Funding /Acquisition RnS as I expect will be the case and long before any dividends are ever returned to shareholders.

Could have been earning dividends from other stocks in all the time I've held this one and especially with the bargains available in the markets atm.

We've just continually bankrolled this lot with Zero ROI.......and so continues with a likely further Placing forthcoming!

Dow finished up 1.52% last night and irrespective of any individual daily variance, it looks like the overall market trend is back upwards, as lockdowns ease and funds on the sidelines begin to re-enter the equities market.

We have another OPEC meeting in June and referring to recent comments by the Saudi Energy Minister and his Russian counterpart, it looks like further production cuts are on their way, to ramp up oil prices.

That should feed into the wider market as will the aforementioned further easing of lockdown and increased economic production, accepting lower GDPs overall.

MATD well positioned now and an excellent prospect to hold at this juncture and awaiting what should be a transformational RNS.

Makes you wonder where the price would be if they weren't trying to prop it up with the buy backs......

.....and where it'll be when they stop, given any sort of dividend returns have been pushed back again!

So, another Placing to fund another Acquisition, with another delay in any dividend introduction.... and another year in the doldrums!

Then BP are still in the frame apparently.....?

At least we know we have the finance covered for drilling.....onwards & upwards over the coming weeks.

June should see us back over 2p regardless, imho!

The BPC share price is at a bargain level atm and given the the drilling campaign is fully financed, along with the excellent Geo data and extent / likelihood of the potential resource.

It looks like along with the broadly recovering market, we have a more dramatic price push due shortly, as the Russian / Saudi Energy Ministers will be in further discussions in the next few weeks.

'We continue to closely monitor the oil market and are prepared to take further measures jointly with OPEC+ and other producers if these are deemed necessary,” Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said in a joint statement'

'earlier comments by Saudi Arabia’s bin Salman, has said that his country is ready to cut oil production further if needed when the OPEC+ alliance meets again in June. “Flexibility and pragmatism will enable us to continue do more if we have to,”

As wider lockdown measures globally ease up, along with the upcoming OPEC meeting and the various vaccine initiatives getting ready to be rolled out - the bargains are there to be had, as the Market starts to regain some traction with Funds currently on the sidelines or in alternate assets.

BPC will be sitting comfortably back above 2p shortly imo, as the early rise is already manifesting......and onwards from there.

Is it another repeat of 'Dweill's' very 'helpful'posting......all whilst he was aggressively offloading stock?

I stated previously that I suspect Toby & co are looking to sideline retail investors, with a deal eventually being concluded with 'preferred parties'......which generously benefits current Directors as part of the deal.

Retail investors have just been used as to bankroll TLDH/MMX from its early startup days and are no longer part of the picture going forward.

Shameless really.

It's of note that the market is willing to take (very) significant individual amounts of stock at greater than the current bid.....in single trades.

I think certain parties are aware of the likelihood of the cleared Prospectus and are prepared to secure stock accordingly.

Along with that, we have the OPEC meeting in June coming up, which should significantly impact wider markets upwards (refer to recent comments by the Saudi & Russian Oil Ministers).

The Saudis need around $80 bbl to balance things up, hence their butts will be absolutely ravaged by the stupid*ty being played out.

I'm expecting a deal to be sorted out their very soon....and a major hike in the markets off that.

Good to see the BPC share price & overall indices going back up - certainly bargains to be picked up and as pointed out, BPC has never been in a better position to realize its goals of drilling and with reduced costs etc, accepting the impact that the pandemic has had delaying the timeline etc.

Like many, just switched off the screen for a while but good to see the regular posters providing the much appreciated info on the investment.

Patience will indeed bring its Rewards!
