Agreed BB and Phoebus, much prefer the emerging Uptrend, to see consistent gains over the coming days.

This can move very fast indeed and very difficult to secure stock with the relatively few shares in issue.

The move towards double digits is already happening as part of the Uptrend.

Great to have balance in my PF, with a varied risk profile & corresponding holding levels associated with such.

MATD is just beginning to break out with the emergence of an Uptrend, with major upside and transformational news due.....and a bona fide oil asset already in the bag (dyor).

COPL is much more speculative with a significantly higher risk profile but with an upside from these levels that is pretty unrivaled in Aim (caveats apply).

When people talk about 'selling out' and taking profits, it may be more beneficial to look at an overall balance in any individual PF.

Given the absolutely 'potential' upside here (and prospects for near term news), I would certainly maintain a holding of COPL stock and beyond any derisking individuals may apply.

I have other stocks (such as the aforementioned MATD), which also provide the opportunity for a High Multiple return - however, they help balance out stocks such as COPL which I hold with a greater level of security by doing so and looking to benefit from the 'potentialy' massive gains possible by doing so.

I hope that provides some overall balance in approach, tothe very exciting story playing out here.

Some did the same before the other days 30% rise and lost out by doing so - each to their own strategy but not necessarily the best time to be out, imho and given the points already raised re:near term news / prospects etc

Good to see the 'steady' rises as part of a larger, underlying Uptrend developing - as opposed to singular gigantuan days.

Arguably one of the most undervalued stocks atm and positioned well for the anticipated Re-rate

If you can actually pick up stock - Buys have been heavily restricted recently and I believe in the build up to the Prospectus RNS (as others have independently noted).

I believe that's due to larger buyers in the background and their own purchases being worked through.

Pay particular attention to the financing deal - it's structured in a really beneficial way for COPL and certainly surprised me that the CEO was able to obtain such in the circumstances.

A very bullish testament to prospects going forward.

How many times do people eroneously talk about a '20 bagger' on these BBs - this is a Genuine prospect for such Stretchum (perhaps a lot more), accepting certain caveats of course.

The Prospectus is a major catalyst for a re-rate and reasonably expected imminently.

Do your own independent research as always and to establish the validity of individual points made here.

Indeed, any shorter term price erosion is irrelevant to those holding for drill results in Feb 2021, irrespective of how low that drop may or may not be.

I think a lot of the price erosion expected is the 120M 1.27p shares in conjunction with the over half year wait for rig mobilisation.

That will almost certainly have a significant impact on the shorter term SP movement, especially after the recent move from sub 1.5p, imo.

Agreed on the basic sentiment of your post Pumpandtrump if not the specific price projections.

I think on rig mobilisation leading to actual spudding, we can reasonably expect a somewhat higher share price than the 4-5p you state, whilst completely disregarding some of the rather absurd figures being bandied around (referring to relative market caps of BPC at those prices v bona fide major oil producers).

However, some of those figures are still bandied about here regardless of the aforementioned, real life comparisons......??

The 120M dilution shares will likely have the 25-30% knock on effect on the price, especially considering the massive uplift over the last week, from short term trader recommendations (refer to Zak Mir).

The family group aren't investing in a property or business with established revenues, so it's bizarre to say they wouldn't realize 'immediate profits' off a derisking strategy but hold for the result of a drill - most here will judiciously derisk before drill results but presume the Family group with 120M 1.27p shares are outright 'gamblers' - that's pure BB mentality.

We also have the over half year wait for actual rig mobilisation and a 2 month further wait onto 2021 for drill results - do we expect no price erosion for the vast majority of that time period?

Some would argue it's going to go to 10p by the end of the week and sit there for all that time, lol.....again, pure BB mentality.

I have a considerable holding here and sitting comfortably in an ISA. What the price does in the meantime is no real concern looking forward to 2021. However, neither would I be unrealistic on actual shorter term movements.

If we see a price erosion over the coming months to circa2p, which I would suspect will be the case, I'd pick some more up - at least that's a lot more realistic than those stating 120M shares @1.27p about to be dumped into the market 'won't have an effect' - that's just silly - as is the expectation that a 7month 'hanging around' for actual operations, won't further erode the price.

I remember the relatively condensed time period, when it went from circa 2p to around 36p - without even having found any oil.

I also recall how difficult people were finding it, to secure any reasonable amount of stock, with the relatively limited amount in free circulation.

One of the biggest shareholders have multiple operations (and influence)as part of the industrial infrastructure in Mongolia - hence why Mike Buck specifically stated PetroMatad are 'viewed as a domestic Mongolian company's

Mongolia were very proactive at the early stage of the Covid pandemic, hence their impressive efforts in containing its spread etc (refer to stats).

There's been an obvious knock on delay in the issuance of the Expkoitation license due to the covid situation, but now we can look with confidence to its nearer term issuance.

That will be a completely Transformational for the company and unlock wider development & near term monetization of the existent asset, with all processing infrastructure in place - and the Partnership agreements referred to.

Very exciting time indeed to be holding one of the most undervalued stocks on Aim, imo and especially on a risk v reward basis.

The market matches buyers & sellers via movement in the share price - a very straightforward example of supply v demand dictating price.

120M new shares at a heavily discounted 1.27p, will invariably push the price downwards whilst still providing tangible profit to the seller.

Good point Nimshy and covered in the interviews by Mike Buck - essentially, now that PeyroMatad have an oil asset in place, monetization of said asset will be prioritised bringing oil revenues on stream - processing I infrastructure is already in place with an existent agreement with PetroChina.

Any additional funding requirements will likely be from a domestic lender and/or a Partnership agreement - again, talks with PetroChina are ongoing and they were specifically mentioned as a potential partner. Any further funding, if needed, would be limited.

Best to refer to the interviews though, as other matters are covered which more fully expand upon why this stock is such a promising prospect going forward.
