I think we can reasonably say it should be a multiple of current levels, irrespective of the actual level reached.

Regarding an RNS to catalyse the price to those levels (or at least significantly higher)Novicem, I'd go by what I stated before;

'indications of those sorts of deals (Syena JV) aren't mentioned in official Company reports unless they're already progressed and moving towards some form of conclusion - also given the emphasis in said reports of further exploration of 'less dilutive' means of progressing the drill / drills.'

Oil man Jim has been knocking BPC since prior to the Covid crises and when it was still around 2p - he continued to do so when it went to around 4-5p.

Now we've had the delay due to Covid and the subsequent sharp drop. However, he's been spectacularly wrong with his bearish stance beyond that and certainly wouldn't be a proponent of his perspective on the stock and its price expectations.

Regarding the specific points he's mentioned, it would be more beneficial to look at said details along with company interviewers and specific details attached to said 'issues' - a much more accurate picture of the expectations towards drilling may be obtained that way and underpin the bulllish stance towards the drill.

The share price needed a period, no matter how brief, of consolidation - that's occurring now , with strong Buying on any dip, as we've noted.

Perhaps IK's expectation isn't so far off, as the previous consolidation was around the 3p level, before the sharp rise again to 5-6p.

When it goes, it moves rapidly.

Gradual rises are fine - especially with what the Exploitation License unlocks for the Company and its share price going forward.

A new Uptrend is establishing and based on the very sound fundamental investment case, not least the existent oil discovery.

Consolidation - a necesary & healthy part of a rising share price.

I know, I just purchased some more - I'm expecting the header RNS regarding Stena.

I'm looking for that development, accepting only an official RNS will confirm it - very soon hopefully!

I'd prefer to hold for MATD to play out, rather than the multitude of what I consider 'tin pot' investments that abound on Aim - no insult intended to those who hold such.

We're all well aware that we have an existent asset, fast track to monetization and full field development, other potential very lucrative assets.....and agreements already in place with PetroChina and specific mention of possible Partnership agreements with the same.

Prefer to be part of an 'overall' uptrending stock with transformational news due and a limited share issuance......rather than one of the aforementioned type of stocks.

This is a legitimate investment prospect with a well defined and attractive risk profile.

Not sure what you mean Molokai, as your statement doesn't make any rational points to evaluate the stock.

Since you do want to bring up MATD, it's probably best to look at it more judiciously than with any random bit of sarcasm.

It has a very different risk profile to BPC, low share issuance and a bona fide oil asset in the bag - it's not 'solely'reliant on a discovery by the drill bit.

I believe it has at least as big an upside as BPC - probably much more!

I hold both BPC & MATD and am happy with the diversification of risk / upside by doing so.

I can't even buy 10k shares!!

Its worth noting the extreme difficulty in Buying, leading up to the very important RNS yesterday.

At this juncture, I can't even buy 10k shares, whereas I can sell my complete holding in one go and at a premium to the prevailing bid price.

Someone is obviously being prioritised for significant stock purchasing in the market.

I had to put on a 'fill or kill' at the full ask price for my intended purchase - let's see if it gets taken up if a tiny 10k shares couldnt.

Bought another little batch today - those CLN conversion shares seem to be putting a brake on the price but given the relatively few shares in actual issue, we should reasonably see a rapid upward movement in due course.

At the moment, it's an opportunity to pick up well priced stock, for my modest shareholding.

I wouldn't be so sure of it not finishing back marginally in blue......lots of Buying at the full ask and any selling by the Family group, assuming its occurring, seems to be well measured.

When it decides to 'go', it'll go hard again, so pretty healthy to let any further consolidation take continue.

Doubt it'll be a 4p finish today Pete - unless the aforementioned Stena RNS is released.

Do we not realistically expect the 4p (and above)to be easily breached in the coming weeks though!

That's why many will be increasing /opening holdings accordingly and cognizant of the larger picture playing out.

I've stated my views on the Stena deal etc (contained in the deleted posts) and still stand by expectations for an RNS on that in due course.
