You have to give it a couple of years IMO - they've just started earning revenue in what could be an enormous industry going forwards and with early mover advantage - more ESG money will continue to come, price will rise etc but if you want £1+ then you need to sit on your hands for a while and let it build.

Traders will slice/exit on spikes etc of course - like some did this morning - but then they lose out when bigger picture/longer-term holders like me catch their shares and keep hold of them :)

I just think as retail discretionary spend continues to be steamrollered into 2024 that, ultimately, businesses like this should do better/well - I'm not 100% up with the financials and it may be a wreck now but in terms of top line at least I can see why it could grow from here.

A nice little sleeper for the PF at 10s IMO.

I managed to grab that 26.8k @ 11.8p - see how she goes - such an exciting company, I genuinely think this could be at a quid within a couple of years with all the UK/Poland/US plants running plus the mine, if it ever happens but the mine is starting to become the lesser factor now, even though it could quite easily be worth 40p on its own down the line.

£11m mcap now - probably worth that for the brand alone - I'm having to dip my toe at 10s here ...

Unfortunately, we have no idea what CIG are doing with those new shares - for all we know they've been lent out for the "market" guys to decimate the price until the real, final placing at 4p in the new tax year/Q2 (my assumption now) - it's all smoke and mirrors I'm afraid and purposely unreadable now as I said on the day.

IMO forget the price, let time do the talking - you'll only know the reality here in six months time.

@plumbs - presumably there's a reason for that - once you get an entity controlling >40% (and less than that in fact) then I think you can likely forget about all other things being equal, because they're clearly not.

I hear you Shaun and FWIW, there's a 9% divi going begging at HBR plus the prospect of a multiplying SP through 2024 - I have boatloads there already at 220s and as I get older, it does also make me wonder why I bother with nonsense like this when HBR is so much more solid and reliable with the prospect of oil exploding via Middle East concerns.

Can't blame people for bailing or buying in at this point I think - there's so much mud in the water now that it's an impossible read - not sure I'll ever believe anything they say again, it was hard enough to do that before - as others have said, it's a lot of gold but what's the use if it repeatedly ends up like this, even with Gold at an ATH - I bet the shop in the Jewellery Quarter is doing nicely though ...

He was talking last year I think - trust me, if anything had actually happened towards producing from Dugbe in 2024 we'd have had to order some long lead time items this Summer already - obviously we haven't, so we're not.

I found myself earlier trying to come up with the words to frame a bet against this bulletin board that they'll never get Dugbe up and running themselves or I'll drop a grand to the board's chosen charity.

I stand by that, nobody but nobody will back this mob to take Dugbe to production, no chance whatsoever - you realise the pre-production costs alone are $400m, yes?

If you want a hint of positivity, however, re throwing a bit more cash towards Dugbe, it would be with respect to finalising some specifics for a possible buyer or a JV partner which I would support (assuming we're a minority partner) and is the only way, in reality, that we'll ever be involved with Dugbe IMO, other than selling it.
