As discussed, it doesn't really matter who is in the wrong re the dispute if the Gold isn't coming out of the ground - the bottom line is that it clearly puts the business in jeopardy - it cannot be argued otherwise.

Moreover, even if the BOD say they have secured another contractor tomorrow then I wouldn't, in the real world, expect them to be pulling sizeable amounts of gold out of Kouroussa ahead of Q3.

Agree with sentiment that this is likely to turn out OK re current dispute but they're clearly at terrible risk of default now and in the hands of a bank that are likely already in more control of this than the BOD are.

Can't do more than that here - just too many unknowns :)

@Johnieeboy - Fair comment and as I said, when the management are like this then it's difficult (if not brainless) not to fear the worst.

It still leaves it open to question mate and not the kind of questions you want to be asking given the management here.

The main problem with the lower grade vibe of course is that Kouroussa was supposed to be an epic cashcow in the first three years with delivery at 120k oz pa instead of the LoM 100k pa because the early grades were supposed to be heavy so talk of low grade issues early on is open to very negative interpretation (as always).
