@Nitro - one of the World's richest men wants a massive stake in the company before the deal goes through and HBR become one of the World's biggest O&G plays just as O&G price perhaps multiply in/to 2025 and beyond (must..have..inflation..).
All sorts of quid pro quo "agreements" will be going on in the background to facilitate as low an entry for him as possible because that's how it works.
Moreover, because this (IMO) is inevitably going to end up in the FTSE 100 then some extremely large funds (pensions etc) will be MANDATED to buy large amounts of shares in it.
They're not going to wait until it's FTSE100 priced of course, they'll also be loading up ahead of that on the quiet - again, this is how it works.
At some point it will go no-offer and the SP will go vertical but not before the big guns are fully loaded.
520-540p or thereabouts is the first target.
