Hi Norrab, I'm pleased that you will come out of this with something...its been a long and painful journey for all us long term holders..It seems that we all had averages of around 10p that we lowered ,only by being over exposed..I feel sure that this will all go through..its mere paperwork with a respected name..Godaddy ,on the back .For that reason I'm going to have my last dip to make an easy 20% from here.."Easy"..well I hope so...
Thanks Norrab for all your contributions to this BB,its been a pleasure to have your company , I hope for a little while longer too.atb Sunday.
Good morning Silv...As always a very well considered post..I suppose each will have a view that depends on the average price or entry price paid..For me..8.8p.gives me an out with 0.4p profit..Not too healthy ,but a recovery from loss, all be it at the cost of having too large an exposure.
It will be interesting to see what the "second bite of the apple," in the form of the shell company delivers...that could be the real cherry on the cake.
Given all the lies and mismanagement over every management team ,I consider myself to have dodged a bullet here, and I will be pleased to move on from MMX as it exists now...atb
You have their ear SjL...that alone is a bit of an ace in the hole...but pure luck too...
Good evening SjL...I'm sure that will be a factor for us,however that is what MMX make of it and little or nothing to do with what Godaddy are offering for the tld business..Its in that respect that I'm disappointed...but still at long last some activity and the prospect of making some extra ...as you point out..
Having spent the day evaluating the sale ,I've concluded that it's at the lowest point of acceptable..Its a deal that anyone could do,and in that respect TF just happens to be sitting in the CEO chair at this time...Im not saying it was the wrong thing to do ,merely that it was done at the lowest end of what was possible..
I'm not sure if its 'cricket 'for another player to come in and better what we have on the table or even if it's likely, but it would be nice to see something a bit sweeter..I'd prefer an all out company sale but in the absence of anything else,I will suck this up...
Hi Silv, I think there is a certain relief that we have an exit route...The deal is a little messy, would prefer Goddaddy to have paid 11p for the whole company and completed in a month or two..Having said that, keeping the shell will give us 12p + in the longer run..if this is played right .and I think.it will be...I'm.just pleased to see the light at the end of the tunnel...MMX was one big screw up ,always in the hands of the wrong people, but we come out ,for most, with a small.profit.atb Silv
Good morning SjL...thanks for that..I'm just catching up with the detail...a little behind the curve...Are we selling 28 tlds...? or the lot...atb
Just looked.at the deal, been on a boat waiting for a year end ,and dividend and this drops.
I would have liked a bit sweeter and certainly to have retained the cash reserves..bit of of a miss for me not retaining some cash...Overall it gives us ,as SjL suggested,a fair deal with the opportunity to extend the payout..I will vote in favour..
Good buying price today given the news...
Many thanks SjL...I absolutely agree with the release of dead over priced stock, sitting on the shelves..I'm pleased with that particular strategy.
I would suggest that your share options figure is a modest one, in the event of a good buyout..I'm.more than happy for TF to be properly rewarded for success..I am however, finding him a frustrating figure, with many of the points raised by Silv covering this subject..I sincerely hope he is pulling up the trees and lives upto your expectation ,on a value enhancing basis.
I'm also in agreement with the Ben Crawford option.Im not interested in a load of their paper
As Silv states ,April should be interesting...especially want to hear on AB sales..
Thanks for the interesting observations SjL/Silv.
I wonder if the other AIM listed entity ,we.are not supposed to mention might come in for us,either via outright sale or merger...
Despite some detail in January on forward objective, basically to raise average DUM s price ,it seems something of a contradiction to be launching a sale offer later this month...
An absolute clarity is needed ,we continue to be starved of detail on many fronts...atb
Goos evening Silv, An interesting spread of reasoning...Really cant see the Uniregestry option..but who knows in the crazy MMX world.
I suspect that they want to double check every detail given recent events...The mood music from January was upbeat ,so I'm expecting decent results...the big question is, will they at long last pay a dividend..cash in bank should support it..
Nothing disappointing at all in the RNS...exactly as expected in my view...Dividend is as anticipated with a further update due soon...
I find the AIM market a bit of a basket case and in the case of i3e, its further demonstrated in the duel listing...In a sane market, maiden dividend announcements should bring a decent SP rise...
Sunday is fine Silv...In addition to the points you mentioned ,I would like to know the strategy behind the upcoming sale...It seems ,on the face of it to run in contradiction to the stated aim of increasing our average price per DUM....
Silv, agree with you...This is a totally unacceptable neglect of duty by a new CEO ,who should be doing everything possible to engage with investors...My hope is that he is pulling up the trees for the business...in the expectation of a company sale ...In the absence of any communication,we.are.in the meantime, having to tolerate further pain....
We should see a positive impact on near term results ,if good , on a dividend payment and a good showing on AB.
Some clearly want the SP to drop as low as possible and post accordingly...
Good points Silv...I hope TF is pulling up the trees in his daily work of beefing up revenue, it looks so but in the absence of that evidence,I see no difference in the incompetence we have experienced with previous managements...
Totally agree Petro..We have had a
painfully long journey towards EL ,and for many, beyond their ability to sit out and wait.
Having waited this long and now on the cusp of achieving EL ,it seems a crazy point at which to surrender..I have added with each dip as funds allow ,and will wait for this gem to take to flight after a long slumber...atb
This is the kind of share that can move up to 30p on some good news ,dividend ,North Sea ,further developments of assets, and just fly on the attention and a certain amount of hype...30p could be just round the corner...
Drinking ....well when we are at 1p perhaps.
In my view, the best RNS we have had in the past year.It vastly expands the asset and drinks our investment. With each stage of progress we are further and further detached from a true valuation for the company...Now worth far more than when we were high 50s...hold and add..
