Tiger, you say that almost as if it's a negative, it is hardly that IMO.
This is proof that there's a market out there for this type of product, if they have done it for cost or not is really irrelevant in the terms of scale. We have a product that is not only unique within the market place but approved by some very clever folks who have decided ours is the best suited for their needs. That's quite an accolade.
We need remember that quite a substantial amount of what is charged is down to installation, we will no-doubt be making a profit on that side of things, or at least covering part admin, all looks quite good from where I'm sitting. Add in there's an ongoing maintenance charge, remote monitoring that will add additional regular revenue that seems not be taken consideration, all these few thousands when multiplied will add significant revenues in the fullness of time.
If we take Tesla as a comparison they certainly do not make a profit on their Energy Storage although it is well hyped and looking at their market cap investors are not too concerned. In fact their gross margin was in negative considerably, what they are doing though is buying market share, most punters who think storage today would say Tesla.
Just imagine what industry professionals will be saying soon enough when people mention storage, redT Energy have all angles covered, both lithium and flow machines, they are able combine the best of both to suit your individual requirements at the cheapest cost known today. When you consider the size of this market place, couple hundred billion per annum soon enough, we could well be the first choice, market leaders even and why not.
Add in that this is a new technology today, just think in 5 years when there's a true option of lithium, lead or flow, how much will that be worth to the right buyer, a couple billion will be pocket change.
Additionally we have a patent for refuelling vehicles, just think if theres a hybrid car/bus/lorry running on a flow battery, more then possible and certainly removes the waiting problem of 30 minutes or more charging a lithium today. A flow machine can be refuelled in minutes, a combination of both would have the power of a tesla whilst having the range of vehicles not available today.
Mind-blowing tech, just Mr Market isn't up to speed, more orders roll in it will have to take notice soon enough.
