Funny that this topic should crop up. As a schoolboy I was in the ATC and 'flew' a Link Trainer.
On Saturday I had my 80th Birthday and the kids had bought me a flight with instructor but unfortunately
the whole thing was called off at the last minute. "Bit lively' was the way he described the weather!
SAR could do with a bit more life, it's been in the doldrums lately so perhaps you can get you dad to give us a tug
to gliding altitude, nice and easy, that would suit me fine.

Thanks for that Doc. It certainly is an impressive CV - much like yours I suppose.
To my knowledge he is already involved in the PHE set up as a Non-exec Director.
He now steps up to a non-exec Chairman 'while the search goes on'
I believe this 'search' has been 'going on' for quite a length of time by now.
'Keith', is already involved so how is his elevation to the Chair going to
speed up a) the planning process and b) getting the DMG into the wider world?
As you say his CV is extensive and it appears that he should be eminently
qualified for the job of driving this, or should I say flogging this dead horse forward.
If he is to breath some fresh air around Ince and he will need something that I did not perceive
in the report ie. the ability to kick ass. I certainly hope he is up to the job- I await
with bated breath.

Dr A , What is it that makes you think he's the right man for the job?
I have no insight into his qualifications - nor any of the other members of the BOD
Perhaps he is - just asking.

Does anyone on this board know anything about these so call remedies to SAR have in their locker.
There seem to be several 'experts' that put their oar in every now and again and there again there
may be others like myself who know FA about the whole thing - other than having a sizeable investment
and seeing maytime running out, waiting for the 'big news' By the way I'm 80 years young today but am
getting rather concerned that I may not be here for the big party? Hasten to say that I am nowhere near 20 st
so that a + . Answers on a post card please no rambling - just facts and timelines.

I have a potential large Capital Gain on sale of property, so decided to cash in on 1M shares the other day to establish a Capital Loss to offset any gain. Once the proceeds hits my account I shall be looking to get back in.

ii too claim to no longer support SAR in my Virtual Portfolio, I have asked why, but no reply!!.
Probably same reason as Stocktrade?

I am unable to monitor SAR in my Virtual Portfolio anyone else getting this message and if so what to do about it?*

"Holdings that are red shaded do not have a price as they are not supported in the new virtual portfolio. If the holding is a fund then you may be able to find an alternative share class of that fund using search & add."
