The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I’d welcome a bid…but I doubt very much they’ll be one. Primary reason is it would cost a fortune just to prepare and go through the process of making a bid…and then the government would block it. I would think the only way any entity will even start to actively consider making a bid is if they are assured they will be allowed to progress, and I don’t think that assurance will be forthcoming.
I would expect BT to have managed impact of change out, i.e. physically and dialogue with government around practicalities, such that there is minimal financial impact. The government are most interested in the optics of being seen to have imposed ban and demanded action. In reality any real ‘security threat’ remains debatable.
I’m in on LGEN. Think it will offer solid dividend and some SP upside.
Looking forward to seeing the robots doing a bit of pole climbing.
Hopefully BT will make them multi-functional and add them to their product portfolio. With one of those the stress of having to justify never doing anything round the house will be a thing of the past and whilst I’m not entirely convinced the technology will be able to achieve it yet, if they’re really going to be ‘uncomplaining’ that’s going to be a massive step forward from the current model.
Apologies for distracting from your earlier post Larry (too much time sitting about waiting for something to be sorted today). Hopefully someone will throw in the ‘SP at end of 2024’ question shortly and that will get things back on track.
What makes him think you are a bully is the repeated obsessive posts, filled with insults and derogatory comments in an effort to humiliate. The behaviour of a playground bully who tries to get others on his side by attacking the ‘odd one out’.
The people that come to this site are quite capable of making up their own minds about others, and most of them mature and humane enough to show at least some respect for counter views.
Actually AP, I agree with about 5% of what Rodney has to say and my values are pretty much the opposite of his, however I am not so dumb that I don’t realise that he revels in the role of arch villain and that he feeds off the reactions he generates.
You’re quite clearly infatuated by him. Take a look back at how many times you make a comment about him. It’s a sad person that has to keep trying to put someone else down to make themselves feel better.
In reality you’re just another ‘Rodney’, deluded, arrogant and did I mention infatuated…but a poor man’s version because frankly his ability to put a paragraph together is way beyond you and he even manages on occasions to be mildly entertaining in a pantomime way, an ability that you can’t even aspire to.
Thanks for the offer. Actually I think Larry, like myself, is enjoying the Switzerland benefits.
I’m curious about your business model. How do customers get serviced and new technologies get rolled out after you’ve disposed of your ‘army of engineers’, have you decided there will be no redundancy payments and have you decided that your customers will have to just keep paying their bills regardless?
Thanks for continuing to inspire and educate me.
