We would love to hear your thoughts about our site and services, please take our survey here.
If BT really are printing phone books it will be because they’re making money out of advertising and they’ll be using an agency to distribute.
I think the reason the SP is going down is likely a little more complicated than that.
I know you don’t want to talk about this anymore but do you think you get his autograph for me? I’m sure he’d be happy to, as he’s your mate and a thoroughly good chap.
Perhaps also you could check out whether he’s going to help us poor, downtrodden BT shareholders when he’s in charge too please. Or perhaps he could even convince one of his russian buddies to make a bid?
Actually fleccy, it was you that started the latest round of politics with your reform post a few days back. Rodney, as per usual, was inspired by you and your comments and as ever rushed to support you. And also as per usual, he’s kept banging on about it ever since.
How kind of you to restrain yourself on this occasion Rodders. As someone who clearly enjoys ‘venomous diatribe’ such action shows a side to your character that has been markedly absent previously.
For clarity, you pre-facing a comment with ‘it goes without saying’ doesn’t mean what you follow with must be undeniable truth.
If you want a response to your question ‘what is wrong with BT?’ you need to first clarify what you see as ‘wrong’. If you mean the SP, the challenge relates to market perception. If you mean the company then leadership, management, ability to manage government and regulator, thereafter market perception.
BT’s assets, capabilities and base market share, coupled with the demand for the products and services it offers means it should be a great success. But it’s not.
Your view…as you still haven’t offered any of previously promised insight?
Thanks but you’ve just highlighted that your comments are completely hollow by opening with a claim that you are about to provide enlightenment on BT, CWU and politics…and then failing to actually make comment about any of those subjects.
I strongly agree with you on all the ‘wrongs’ you have described and equally believe firm action needs to be taken to correct them. However, whilst you have quoted them in an effort to rally the discontented, using the wrongs of our society to falsely validate your views, you’ve chosen to completely ignore that the situation has got dramatically worse whilst those you have advocated have been ‘in charge’ and responsible. And now your answer is to replace with a bunch of loud mouth, egotistical idiots that love the sound of their own voice but have actually demonstrated absolutely zero ability to achieve anything…so in other words people much like yourself.
Have a good day.
I think you may have misinterpreted who porsche is.
He’s the old hag who sits below the gallows with his knitting, cackling manically. Not the insightful clairvoyant who will signpost your lottery win.
Don’t worry, no-one’s being led to the gallows soon. But don’t expect a lottery win in the near term either.
We do still have a conservative government. Pretending we haven’t rather than accepting that what you stand for has proved incompetent and misguided won’t change it.
And doubling down for a more extreme, narrow minded version isn’t going to make the UK stronger or better either.
Having said that, as your preferred mode of operation is centred around creating divisions, the latest bandwagon you’ve jumped on is a good fit.
I understand the logic of your outlook based on BT statements and I get that there should be great future potential Fleccy.
My caution is primarily due to the ongoing impact that I believe the regulator may have and ongoing concerns about the working culture within BT.
I fear just as soon as BT are able to fully exploit current investments constraints will be applied, and that this threat, coupled with apparent disconnect between management and ‘do-ers’ will continue to weigh on market sentiment.
Hopefully your optimism will prevail and my concerns will prove unfounded.
No, you’re stating your opinion but your arrogance is such that you think it’s fact.
Again, not sure why you think it’s your place to respond to a comment that has nothing to do with you. I’m guessing it’s that misplaced arrogance again.
Interesting that as someone who apparently thinks they are most qualified to judge others you don’t seem to have grasped the irony and hypocrisy in the fact that 90% of the comments you post on here are to put other people down.
Wow! Not sure why you think it’s your place to comment AP but what a smart lad you must be to come up with such a creative comeback. Sharp as a razor you. All the other toddlers in kindergarten must be just so in awe of you but if you really need to get your kicks by trying to put other people down from the anonymity of your keyboard perhaps you should start calling yourself ‘no balls’.
Like what I did there?
For clarity, whilst I would never get in a car with fleccy for fear of him driving over a cliff whilst repeatedly saying ‘it’s definitely this way’, I actually think that he shows a level of dignity in the face of your repeated comments and is generally a man of principle.
In other words, I think you’re focusing your discontent in the wrong direction.
Having said that, I think the common bond you share when it comes to politics (reform!!), means both of you have extremely questionable judgement.
How old are you then Rodney??!!!
There’s someone on here who keeps referring to you as an old duffer and has now commented that he’s reminded of something about when willie whitelaw (who?) and margaret thatcher (heard of her) did something or other. Not sure when all that happened but guessing that makes him about 90 so you must be about 150?
Am I close? Very impressive if you have kept going that long. Isn’t modern science a wonderful thing.
Your compassion for him is clear to see phatty but for fgck sake stop banging on about him, over and over and over again.
If you keep putting someone else down people are going to start to think you’re doing it because you have a compelling need to convince yourself that you’re more than just a nobody. I’m sure that’s not the case but wow it’s sad and boring to listen to.
