Theyre very popular in the UK at the moment of course but many countries wont use them (LFT), or at least not to the same extent, because of their inaccuracy.
The future is PCR not LFT imo. Im sure theres money to made in LFT short term. Im just not a short term trader.
Good luck to everyone, whatever their strategy.
As we already know, PCR & LFT will be used together.
My money is in PCR tests because I think they will continue to be the most important test for many years or decades to come...nothing else is as sensitive or as versatile.
LFTs will have theyre place for a while but their use will probably fade.

Plenty folks have jumped out this morning to get into odx and theyll be back soon enough.
All part of the game for traders.
Some of them are already knocking on the door and shouting their deramps through the letterbox in hopes of a lower entry price.
Ah well at least it gives me a few more names for the green box.
If I was a bit more evil id say later today would be a great time for a good news rns.
Mr Dribbles..very apt name by the way!
Scare porn?..what kind of stuff are you into you?
Obviously you didnt bother to read the article or just dismissed it without a second thought.
I dont like it either but sticking your fingers in your ears, shaking your head and shouting NO, NO, NO! wont change the facts.
Your free to believe what you like but you should try to study more and use a bit more reasoned thought.
..for those (including myself) who thought that eventually..after a few years or decades the virus would automatically become more transmissible but less deadly like the flu.
The truth is, a virus doesnt need to leave its host alive in order to continue to spread. As long as it has enough time between infection and subsequent mortality, (which is the case for Covid 19), then it has plenty of time to spread to other hosts.
Worth a read anyway. Sorry if its already been posted.

Mainly to try to find out the effects of mixing and matching different vaccines with similar or completely different technologies.
Maybe gives a sense of the timescales involved with immunisation against covid 19
https://www.livescience.com/oxford-testing-mixture-different-coronavirus-vaccines.html
The mix-and-match trial is run by the U.K.'s National Immunization Schedule Evaluation Consortium with government funding and will last for 13 months.
A 13 month trial, which then has to be validated. So obviously theyre looking further forward than that..maybe 14 to 18 months for the results, if useful, to be acted on.
Gives us a clear timescale. Obviously testing will eventually slowly decrease as vaccines continue to roll out but not anytime soon and it gives the company plenty of time to continue acquisitions and growth strategies towards midcap status. If not acquired ourselves in the next year or two.

Wasarunner..thats a lot of money to have in one stock.
If I was in your situation id be looking to diversify a bit to protect what I have but where can you find anything with a better risk reward ratio?
Id be interested to know what your looking at that compares to this.

"Elitist attitude which puts off many posters and contributors."
Sorry mate but a cursory glance at your post history, shows that you have nothing meaningful to contribute.
Lantier..very well put and made me smile.
Fulmar..had to laugh out loud. Your a funny guy.
Woke extremists not known for their sense of humour, so Ts might not be impressed.
Hi Westie..hope your well. There are some good posters here as you say but of course they, like most of us, take a back seat when the scrotal herds arrive.
Wish I hadnt bothered : (
Taken over by the scrotes again. Some say its a good sign when they arrive but theyre as welcome as a curry fart in a lift. Its a breath of fresh air when they leave with their few % and move on to annoy others.
Some who have been here a while are showing their true colours also..like old peggy. I used to think she/he? Was just one of lifes morose moaners but like the rest, their intentions eventually become transparent to all.
Out at 6+ ... deramp, deramp..back in low fives..becomes more positive again.
Give it up peggy we all know your game!
All the best to the decent LTHs here.
Its going to be a good year for us one way or another.
For those traders feeling a bit uncomfortable and now asking advice on what to do.
Although its not my job to dry your tears or change your nappies, I will say for those who have jumped in here on a gamble, been spiked and genuinely wondering what to do next...
I dont think its likely the sp will go down to 7s from here but thats only my guess. More likely to rise in the next few weeks all being well and with some good newsflow, which should let you out with a bit of profit.
Lucky you...or are you?
Id say most of us who have been here a while have seen it all before and were quite relaxed.
In the longer run (2 to 3 years plus) im confident as I can be of life changing profits. Ill try not to make any more predictions because its pointless.
The price will be what it will be and the market will decide. Imo better to keep your research high and expectations low and be nicely surprised on the upside rather than setting yourself up for dissapointment.
You could do worse than read and take note of soders post
(fri 20.38)..very sensible!
I agree with others that investor relations could improve from a company that states its ambitions to be a main market mid cap business. Not going to be too hard on them because I understand that theyre still in an early growth phase and very, very busy running the business, but still, what were getting now could be made a bit clearer.
Would be nice to know more details on the very important ongoing negotiations with DHSC. Are they still discussing phase 1 for instance? Or are they also negotiating ph 2?
Time will tell I know but investors want to know what their investing in before they commit their money.
Theres no guarantee that theyll take the full 700 of ph 2, or any even, (could always be some political interference) but hopefully they will at least be willing to take some..at least a third or half would still be amazing for us..who knows but either way they need to make a commitment soon so the company can get on with its other aims, such as getting a much bigger slice of the USA market.
Thats where our main focus need to be now imo.
Last bit of advice for any newbies. Ive said this before but..be 'very' careful who you trust on these boards.
Everyone has their own agenda and ive seen some very smart tricksters here..so choose wisely.
Ill be trying not to visit here every day from now on..or at least not to be trying to read through every post.
I think my investment is in safe enough hands not to worry too much.
Keep the faith but keep it real.

Wolverine..good post apart from the wording of the tweet was..
"Don’t celebrate yet!! We got more work to do still..."
Not
"don’t get excited just yet, there’s more to come."
Still anyones guess as to what it means though :)
They do like to tease us!
Ill post the link anyway.
Interesting read from Nat Geo.
Not the most positive news (generally) but most of us know it anyway, and there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
