Gosias, it's currently impossible to reliably predict hbr share price. It does not behave in any rational way due the complicated share structure and the legacy from its creation from the failed pmo whom it took over The way forward might be clearer after 25 june though, hope so.
30 by wed next week is a bit racy, would be good, but it's a big leap from where are now and would put hbr on 600p on market opening on 25 june. Not to be sniffed at !
Linda Cook will need to pull a few rabbits out of the hat at the agm and trading update presentation to get hbr market cap to that of its peers. Atmo, its woefully poor. Lots riding on 23 June. Time for her to earn her remuneration .
I hear a lot about mm's keeping this down or that we are are being played. I appreciate the need to pin blame when things go wrong, but can anyone explain the process by which mm' s can maintain a share price above or below the market thinks it is worth ? If it's too low surely buyers come in and snap it up thereby increasing the price , if too high then holders sell depressing the prices. Simples. I'd be interested to know how mm's operate to fix prices that are contrary to market forces. Answers on a post card please.
Following on from the relevation that shortages of something causes the price to go up , I've just twigged the real reason why hbr are doing a 20 for 1 share consolidation. Its because there are less shares to go round for the eager buyers so that forces up the price. Brilliant idea Baldrick . Is it working yet, er no.
