Nothing to see at the drill site as yet. Think the rig is presently being towed to site and due there on 15th with 2 vessels involved. https://marad.gov.gy/notice-to-mariners/ Nos: 82 and 83

40mscf/d not much use, but couple of million over all the zones handy for a gas engine/generator to supply some power to plant save diesel and minimise gas to flare.
RNS issue of notes
We hold the N Port Fouad (50%) block right next door similar structure to Eni- Also PCI holdings N Theka block same area.
Davy said: and noted that Environmental Impact given go-ahead positive but not there yet although has frightened the tree-huggers. DAVY VIEW 'Industry reports indicate that Petroceltic’s 2014 EIA to drill the Elsa-2 well in the Italian Adriatic offshore has been given the go ahead. This is positive for its Italian business. Together with the recent news in the Po valley area, it looks as if the Italian portfolio is finally making meaningful progress.'
Sounds like April 1st! but found this which is pertinent. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A//www.primadanoi.it/news/cronaca/558202/Petrolio--Il-Ministero-accelera-.html&hl=en&langpair=auto|en&tbb=1&ie=UTF-8 Croaker is mis-translation of the 'Ombrina Mare' project by MOG offshore close by Elsa-2. If Elsa-2 granted where would the money come from I wonder?
Checked just now for 'shares on loan' (short indicators) for PCI from broker friend - source subscription Markit/Data Explorers: August 7th 2.8M shares and falls to 0.5m 12th Nov. Slight rise to currently 0.65m. There was a quick blip to 2.25m in early Oct
According to Sterling Resources our well spud on the 11th April. (It was on location 7th April) http://www.sterling-resources.com/news/2014/nr0133.html
'Badly written. The well hasn't been abandoned' Agree there! Hussein in my opinion they would not bother to test if there was no chance of oil flowing to the flare pit. It's too expensive on rig time. I was hoping for an EWT, extended well test (many months) and trucking the oil to sale to make .some money as many others in Kurdistan do,
Consul General Joseph Pennington visited Hess Corporation’s Shakrok # 1 well on January 27, which is located at an elevation of 5,250 feet. In addition to Shakrok # 1, Hess is currently drilling the highest well in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region in its Dinarta block, located at an elevation of 7,217 feet. (No official announcement it spud as yet)
Carp you right re pinch of salt! It's rubbish. He posted on ADVFN yesterday (he removed his post since my immediate response to it) what was almost a carbon copy of Marathons find on an adjacent block (Mirawa-1 well), even down to the gas and condensate readings being exactly the same as Marathons for Shakrok. Also taking his figures for net pay and areal extent from a previous iii posting the result would have been 28 billion barrels OIIP!
Hi Ramerci, See PCI RNS 14th Nov: 'The GSP Prometeu drilling rig will NOW MOVE to the Muridava concession (Block EX-27, Petroceltic 40%, Operator) to spud the Muridava-1 exploration well' Thus next well was to be a 'back to back' one. So consider that what should have been a week at most stretching towards a month now... Instead of moving, the rig stayed on station for many days for unknown reason(s) and was eventually towed into Constanta. Although the rig does not broadcast its position on AIS (as it should) watched on marinetraffic.com the AHTS (anchor handler vessel) tow something it into Constanta assumption the rig.
Suspect 'trouble at rig' as it towed into Constanta - big delay for next Romanian spud must be three weeks now since quit the last job for us.
No 6) The rig Prometeu has not moved as yet from the first Romanian drill. The Rig does not transmit position but the three standby vessels surrounding it do.
