Roger, from memory data was going to be collected from our US partner until the end of the year then this was going to be used for the data thwe FDA required for application which was early next year then approval if granted was to be the end of next year. This was all before the FDA fast track and De Novo route which usually takes 150 days but with fast track could be as little as 90 days. Assuming we apply in Feb 2025 and a 3 month timescale that would mean we are funded , JUST ABOUT until then. Yes we may have to raise some more cash but hopefully the sp is a lot higher than it is now, so my thinking is 8p sp ish , raise £7m at 5p ish to see us through for the next 12 months by which time we could be self funding?????

With geonomic testing the way forward for medical testing we are in a great position with 2 world class tests fit for market and the IP to develop more . The big stumbling block is finance as we have no idea as and when the take will happen . Being such a small company we will be taken over , but having done a little research on this item the reason takeover prices run into the hundreds of £ms is that it does nt normally happen until the said company is in a steady sales pattern of which we are nowhere near that yet. The 2 questions i have is how far are we from getting a steady sales stream and when will we be in a position to attract offers. ?

Until we start to get overseas sales and we have FDA approval these 2 targets wont happen i feel but that is not to say the sp wont start to climb but sales are the main priority which is why i was sad to see our last CEO go as i think he had the drive to push these but possibly not the right attitude for dealing with the political NHS attitude , but that is just my thought.

Winni, the company has published revenue targets, £75m ish for hearing test and £150m ish for stroke test . These are world wide sales so about £220m for both tests, what they have never given is timescales apart from break even for sales in 2026.

The company have always said breakeven will not happen until 2026, so cash raise next year is almost certain . The big if is can they get FDA application in , possibly approval and sales elsewhere , if so then any dilution or raise will not be at a premium that we have seen . For me we will start to see a pick up over the next 6 months so not too worried yet although i would like to see the sp a lot higher than it is now.

Roger, sad too see you go as you have been around a good few years now , maybe if we get the news you have been hoping for you may have a bit of a re think?

A 5p would be the starting bid but i think there are more than 1 company looking at this , but i would be surprised to get any offer with our current sales. if we did around 10 p would be my guess for final offer , with IP and the tests that would be a bargain price imo.

Laura2022, as regards Roger imo you are incorrect in this instance. i have been here longer than many and as long as others and in that time we have had many discussions and different opinions and he has always been respectful in his replies to me. Like many he is worried about his investment , possibly put in more than he should have and got carried away which again many of us are guilt of its just the timelines are not meeting expectations and this is the big lesson for all of us , things take longer than we hope or expect but with a lot of luck it will get there eventually and hopefully news will start to flow in the next month or so?????

Looks like Roger is doing the hokey cokey again, in out in out , the fundermentals hav nt changed its just that it is not meeting your timescales again . 12 months funding sorted from the raise , add some sales and tax rebate that would allow easily to cover the extra predicted for next year .

As we all know and have seen many times with GDR momentum is massive , so any sales in Europe and the sp will re rate with a steady drive north . Whether this will happen is all guess work on our parts but as the bod have said September could well be the start . This may well not reach the highs of where it has the potential to or should but with 2 world leading tests i find it very hard not to believe it being a success.

And they will make money when it is proven it is more efficient than lab testing , and yes i know what NICE say as that is your only come back . This is what the doctors decide.

Many times by the less positive posters here that Nice preferred choice is a lab test and that our POC swab test is the back up, now however you try to dress it up that still means our test and machine have to be available to all as is the lab test so why on earth should we be giving the machines away or reduced cost of tests, its there in black and white NICE states we are the preferred back up to lab tests and need to be made available , answers and reply s on a postcard please.

Spoke to a cardiologist this week about GDR and he had never heard about them or their tests so even if it was available he would not use it .

This is the big problem atm , the availability of the test and access, PLUS news on what it does, totally agree with a few here who have been asking for more PR, this should be shouted from the highest building , press releases tv interviews the bod from the top down should be pushing this and not just relying on medical journals.

Gloria , and there is the problem, do you wait until there are about 10,15,20 tests to take to the lab from the hospital , then you have storage space for them new fridge? keeping track of them all increases the possibility of mistakes or lost tests. Or do a swab test , put it in the machine , grab a cuppa and deal with a patient hey presto the answer is there on what to prescribe and you have speed and accuracy and reduced human error. I know i am not the sharpest about but that is just common sence to me .

Try sitting in this chair, we are being told genomics is the way forward for medicine, we have 2 ground breaking worlds best tests that can be carried out in 1 hour for treatment , and then told yes but we think waiting 2-5 days for a lab test is better?????. Dont tell me it is about cost as i bet sending a blood test on a motor bike is nowhere near cheaper than the cost of a test, think about the footfall to a lab compared to the back of the ward. And here is part of the reason the NHS is on its knees because is so backward in its thinking and run top end by idiots and pocket fillers and egos.
