Good plan, I was thinking of topping up here but will now hold for 16th and look to invest directly as well.

At listing there will be 360 m shares at 6.5p valuing Kanabo at £23.4m. Vela will hold 2,307,692 shares representing 0.6% of issued share capital costing £150k. Relatively small investment so I wonder if Vela applied for more shares and were cut back as the subscription was reported as being over-subscribed. Maybe they will buy on open market when available?

Agree Suthy. Relatively small investment of £150k, that's less than the proceeds received from the K2 disposal. Still £1m+ to invest so I expect a few more like these in coming months.

I now see the reference on the website that you quoted. Perhaps this should be updated to avoid confusion as I guess it could be misinterpreted as all of SGS.

I read it as only for the Covid diabetic treatment.

In the initial RNS dated 20/10, it states in part "Under the terms of the Agreement, pursuant to either commercialisation route for the ASSET...." (my caps).

Asset is defined in same RNS as follows
Under an agreement entered into in August 2019, SGS has acquired the right to develop and commercialise two assets from a major global pharmaceutical company, one of which includes the licence to a drug that could be beneficial to diabetic patients suffering with COVID-19 (the "Asset").

Thks Magsood, I guess it depends on definition of 'sticky'. 13 investors listed with < 5% ownership. If they don't intend to sell for next 1- 3 years then fair enough.

Suthy, totally agree, there should have been some more patients on boarded in UK last few weeks, but not yet disclosed. Exciting indeed.

On 4th Jan, SGS reported they had recruited 50 of the 150 patients from 11 UK hospitals. They have now added a further 4 UK hospitals and 19 hospitals in Romania and Czech. So at a minimum, we are now at 51 patients but hopefully a few more than that and ramping up at a greater pace than pre xmas!
