Stanflan, agree that money in the bank suggests that there is a large deal to be had, rather than dealing in multiple smaller opportunistic investments. I thought there may be a connection with RDGC but AAA is a definite maybe with JN/Vela the ultimate dealmaker! £2m in the kitty today and if the SGS trail proves successful and all warrants are exercised, another £3.8m to Vela plus any monies from commercialisation. Game on.

I should add that SGS is a charity and has no obligation or ability to inform the market on progress via the usual RNS process. So when the trial results are published, they may be released via tweet or thru news organisations. Are they under an obligation to inform Vela, as an investor, in advance? Results may be widely known before Vela has an opportunity to digest and prepare an RNS thereby providing a very brief window to accumulate (or dump) in advance of formal notification.

Absolutely, expect the unexpected. We may not have had a timeline update yet but I don't expect researchers to be sitting on this critical data for too long. Independent analysis potentially progressing for the last week.

As that weighting continues to reduce in coming months and there is more understanding of the web 3.0/defi space, the price action should de-couple to the benefit of KR1.

I suspect JN will not RNS based on a single tweet (that he may not even be aware of yet). Fair enough to wait for more substance i.e next steps released on SGS website news section as per last time around. When the big news lands in a month or so, would be good if JN could co-ordinate with SGS to release timely RNS at time of first tweet.

& let's not forget the investment partners including Mubadala of Abu Dhabi, Excalibur & UKRI / Innovate UK, at the first sign of good news, this will go global.

So I base my expectations on these news releases but no doubt SGS will provide further timeline details shortly.

1st milestone achieved today. Followed by initial results, commercialisation discussions and release of final results scheduled for Aug. Plus the small matter of deploying the £2m cash. Going to be an exciting summer.
