Is Angelfish the mystery 10th investment?

On 23/02 Placing RNS states 9 investments and includes reference to hydrogen investment but did not name Aeristech til 25/02. Subsequently invested in MTI (25/03) and disposed of North Peak (09/04) which should mean the 9 investments in total was retained however this last RNS mentions 10 investments. So between 23/02 and 09/04, a further, as yet unnamed investment was made.

On the 26/04, Angelfish announced a placing of £42k plus a CLF of £90k without mentioning investors by name. This is also when Simon Grant-Rennick was appointed to the Board. If these funds were raised prior to 09/04 but info released a couple of weeks later only once all paperwork was finalised, then feasible that Vela were one of the placing investors & may explain the radio silence.

Thoughts?

Lots of excitement on the vela board today. JN quietly doing his thing, as others have said here , am sure target identified and just finalising details.

The key here is whether Vela is part of the £2m fundraise which certainly looks like a very strong possibility. Should have more info from General Meeting on June 28.

This deal seems to be more about the participation in all future co-investment opportunities with Excalibur. Angelfish invests in EML for cash in return for 2% plus share consideration only if AZD1656 is successful. The current agreement re 8% of proceeds to SGS (less defined costs) should remain intact.

I don't see reference to initial results, will we just have a final report published?

Anyway, next 2 weeks should be quite exciting as we ponder what this all means.

Great find Jimmy, I see that Peterhouse Capital is involved which seems to be Vela's go to broker.

Need to read it a few times , slowly, to understand what it all means.

I think it is fair to say it is a waiting game now. SGS said results by end of June however there is a good possibility that they may be released earlier. All signs are that the results will be positive but until initial report is published, all just speculation by us investors.

Mode RNS, should be first of many future partnerships, expect some nice price action today.

Yep, expect RNS tomorrow and more positive price action. Hopefully some of that will rub of on the Vela SP as well

& left it right til last day of 6 month deadline. I also see SPC pulled their secondary listing application for AQSE with no explanation. RDGC is now the best option available on the market for any target co. looking to list.

Lucky escape, PPG suspended today for RTO of a USA coal mine.

If options are 1.8p, then hopefully SP would be a little north of that for the Directors to be in the money - no point if they break even. GLA

Bixx current shareholders have an effective ownership interest in those assets. It would be up to the Bixx Directors to determine how those assets are now managed and potentially monetised.

Morla, Briefly, as part of the restructure, a group of assets (including arb) were spun out of Vela & transferred to Bixx. As part of this transaction, Bixx owe Vela £855k which is payable in 7 years. The shareholders of Vela at the time became shareholders of Bixx. It is now a standalone entity not otherwise connected to Vela. Refer RNS 31/07 for full details.

Reprobus, that will be the challenge as I expect this to unfold over a period of time. Someone mentioned SAR the other day, looking at the 1 yr chart, it is now 8x although there were a couple of decent pullbacks that no doubt tested the nerves. Will be quite easy to offload on the initial SP frenzy (hopefully) but how many will hold til full value ?

I agree that it is binary. Those of us invested are on the side of a deal, those on the sideline think not. The clock is ticking.

The MC is a little higher as the fundamentals tab has not been updated to account for last placing plus some warrants. Shares in Issue has increased from 12.074bn to 13.843bn resulting in MC of around £11m (at 0.08p). Let's hope MC continues its nice rise over rest of week. GLA
