My short term target is 0.3p - 0.5p. With a fair tailwind then perhaps north of that if spectacular results/commercialisation deal. Plus new investment(s) could also help provide a nice boost to the SP. Worth considering MC, shares in issue etc as to how high this may go.

Jimmy, I have been checking for RNS, nothing yet

Warrants are more of an issue. 13.8bn shares in issue + 4 bn warrants at 0.06p, 0.125p & 0.15p so I expect them to be exercised as SP moves upwards. Warrants represent 22% of Enlarged Shares in Issue if all exercised. Add in SGS 1.1bn shares and you could see 5.1bn or 29% of Enlarged Shares in Issue heading for the exit all at the same time.

Angelfish/Igraine is for all future deals with Excalibur so I see it as a long term Life Science play. I read it that the success or otherwise of AZD1656 determines the price to pay for its 2% stake in EML rather than necessarily being involved in future development/production of AZD1656 but of course, it may well transpire that is the case..

Yes, my opinion only and of course, I could be wrong. However here is my rationale for the statement.

SGS website 20 April
We expect all patients to have completed the ARCADIA trial by mid-May and once the final study visit has taken place, the timelines for database lock and the reporting of the initial study results will be communicated. At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter.

There has been no communication for last 2 months re timeline etc.

Now lets turn to the Angelfish RNS 11 June
The data is now being assessed and outcomes will be reported formally on or about late July 2021.

No mention of Initial Trial results and Full Trial results with separate dates, just outcomes to be announced on or about late July 2021.

We should know either way soon enough. GLA

Angelfish/Igraine GM on Mon - will Vela be part of the placing?
RDGC RTO deadline approaching on 5 July - will Vela be part of this transaction?

Plus of course the big one, the Trial results. I am now of the view that there will only be one set of results end of July. A little longer to wait but am sure it will be worth it when they drop.

Boom, with you on the Vela connection. Not all in with their pot of cash, but enough to give them a decent % and the potential target you allude to aligns with their investment policy. Who knows what is up with JM, I go with the view that he parked his spare cash here, RTO taking too long and needs access now prior to suspension. The clock is ticking!

I don't currently see Vela being involved in production. That would be a huge cost to produce 00's mil of pills and best left to the Pharma. Let them do the heavy lifting, make some money, pass a few £ to SGS and Vela will then get its cut. Not sure whether that type of activity falls within the corporate investment strategy anyway.

As Jimmy alludes to, Sir Chris is joining Board of Angelfish/Igraine. To me it follows that Vela may want to continue with this relationship. To date, most investments have been in the range of £100k - £250k yet the SGS deal was £2.35m, Why was that, does JN have an interest in Health Tech/Life Sciences sectors? Taking part in the placing will allow Vela to effectively participate in all similar deals alongside Excalibur. This widens the scope of potential activity, not limited to only SGS trials.

I can see a chunky £1m - £1.25m going into the placing next week. RDGC RTO is still pending so maybe a double dip and a little investment there as well.

This time next week we should know more & we may even revisit this post then and have a good LOL if radio silence continues!!

I am fully invested here & would love to see news on this asap but I have reset my expectations although would be happy to be proven wrong.
