Vela Technologies invites bids for WeShop shares.
Vela Technologies said it was considering a full or partial sale of its holding in e-commerce company WeShop. The company said it would be interested in discussing the disposal of WeShop shares with any interested parties at a minimum price of 550p each. Vela Technologies currently held 71,429 shares, or about 1.4% of the company.

Further info available in last set of Weshop Ltd accounts support this price range.

Although we all want results, like yesterday, I think that the positive is that the wait means it is more likely we end up with a mega combined Results/Deal RNS. If this happens, MMs won't be able to keep the lid on the SP and it will start its long awaited journey to 10+ bagger heaven.

Just to add a little further info re Weshop valuation, another investor Primorus Investments (PRIM) acquired their shares at prices of £5.36 & £5.86. In addition, there was an option agreement for an investor to acquire shares at a valuation of £25m but not clear if this was ever exercised. The 1.4% may have been diluted but if we give the 71k shares a £5 value, that would take Vela stake to say £350k.

I don’t think it is immediate delisting, I believe that there is a 2 month warning from Companies House via Gazette before any action taken, happy to be corrected on that point.

On another note, the new name is quite confusing. Is it 1graine plc or Igraine plc?

RNS dated 11 June states name change to Igraine plc. On each of the subsequent 3 RNSs dated 29 June, 01 July & 09 July, states company to be renamed 1graine plc. Earlier this week, the Companies House Change of Name form was certified and shows that the new company name is now officially changed to Igraine plc. On the 15th June, a subsidiary company was established (wholly owned by Angelfish plc). Guess what, it is named 1graine Ltd.

No doubt a simple admin error, someone wrote I instead of 1, or was it 1 instead of I? It may seem a minor point but all future corporate docs etc need to be in the correct name (whatever it is) or could be invalidated. Would contact them to clarify but their website is under maintenance and no contact details.

In some ways I feel that it is now better to wait. Initial results could potentially have come with a caveat meaning the market does not fully price in. Now we should get fully confirmed final results with mega press coverage and perhaps even combined with a commercial deal. Bigger bang for the buck.

Yes, I think first 12 months thru 2022 summer season could be quite interesting as Blue Air expands & makes use of landing slots they have acquired. If they can prosper and achieve good profitability, provided lockdowns continue to ease, then mcap should build from £500m to £bns as you say.

TM, no doubt JN is aware of what the expansion plans mean in terms of future growth and is happy to be part of it. Agree, I am not unhappy, although this may take some time to play out & for the company to turn a profit. Will be interesting to see what the market makes of it next week on listing.
