Knowing the Results date, quite unusual I think, seems to have changed the dynamics here. I would expect potentially upwards pressure on the SP for the next couple of weeks. Once warrant holders have ceased their de-risk sell off, tops ups and new investors will come into play. I don’t even think 14% increase in Shares in Issue (if all remaining 0.06p warrants are exercised) will have much impact at the moment as FOMO (hopefully) kicks in. Looking for close of 0.10p – 0.13p on Fri 3rd.

Post Results day, I think of it like this. There may be 16bn shares in issue by that stage, all acquired around 0.06p – 0.08p range (oops, except mystery guy!). If everyone wants to de-risk by 50% of their holdings (remember there are no Institutional investors here, only PIs looking to turn a quick profit), then the results and commercialisation deal need to be of such high quality as to rocket the SP to counter this sell off pressure, at least long enough for me to make a few £££.

How many warrants will be exercised this week? I expect warrant holders want their new shares to be available prior to Results day. Usually takes a week or so for the new shares to become available and with Bank Holiday next Mon, wouldn’t want to leave it too late, maybe Thurs/Fri at latest to exercise.

With the Fri SP action, this potentially brings all warrants into play if the pump continues, not just those at 0.06p. How many warrants are there?

We now know the date but what time and will the news break before the RNS? The last several updates by Vela have all been the day following the Excalibur newsflow. This time around I am hoping that there will be a co-ordinated Media Release combined with RNS, not necessarily at 7am but sometime later in the day? WTFDIK, GLA.

Excalibur Medicines Limited, a subsidiary of Excalibur Healthcare Services Ltd., announced today that the clinical team will report on the ARCADIA trial on September 6, 2021.

The SGS results will just be the starting point. Current cash ~1.25m + Warrants (if all exercised) ~ £3.7m so potentially £5m to play with and that is before any commercialisation or BoD Options or Bixx Ltd monies. Vela could in a few short weeks be the best funded AIM stock, ever. Imagine what JN could do with that sort of firepower. Dual strategy for me, top slice on good news and de-risk then hold a smaller pot for the longer term. If SP hits 0.13p by the 3rd, then no reason this can't do 3x to 0.39p on Day 1 and with a bit of twitter ramping reach 0.5p, even if for a short time only.

Great question, tough to answer as it is so much a personal choice. Firstly I would say consider splitting sell order into 2 or 3 at different prices. May then depend on price on the 3rd, so answer may differ if still at 0.07p or at say 0.13p. I will reserve judgement for the moment!

Some juicy buys coming in now and Ask ticking up. Bought a few more as a trading strategy with a view to de-risk and sell on or before 3 Sept. I figure we have hit lows, worst case i lose on spread but may make a few % points with a fair tailwind,

Everyone is getting a little jumpy and jittery, I guess it will be like this for the next 2 weeks. From the FT article, it states AstraZeneca has a deal with the US to supply up to 700,000 doses of the treatment for up to $726m. WOW!!

Twisty, I hear you, I guess we will hear more in the coming days/weeks on this treatment. This is so prevalent that require multi drugs on market. Here is the Astra press release.

As per Nick's post, the warrant holders are selling existing shares at 0.07p. They will not be buying back those sold shares on the open market but rather will exercise warrants for newly issued shares at 0.06p.

Institutions have 46 percent of shares public have 49 percent. No institutional holders here. The significant shareholders are nominee accounts such as HL. Barclays et al holding on behalf of PIs like you and me.
