We can now probably assume all near term motivated sellers are out, including SGS and the warrant holders that previously exercised into shares. Shares now in stronger hands leading into deal news, SP already looking a little stronger as large sells begin to dry up.

Fantastic News & confirmation of commercial discussions with potential licensees. This won't take long to execute, next RNS could be a blockbuster.

Just a thought, could be a warrant holder that has finally decided to exit now or there are 135m of BoD options that have now met conditions to be exercised. Exercise then share sale could all be taking place at the same time in advance of advising market - is that possible?

Large buys coming in to absorb these sells quite easily. Keeping price mid 8s for now but I say let them sell up before next news. No TR1 holders as far as I know so must be SGS.

The Vela RNS states the agreement is subject to the successful completion of Phase II of the ARCADIA trial, before mentioning the minimum thresholds being met. I do think it is effectively the same requirement as the Igraine RNS which requires that the trial has been a success. I take your point that this would provide another layer of confirmation, may need to wait a little longer though.

I have wondered the same. Part of the restructure (the existing Director's participation in the Subscription, Convertible Loan Notes and the Options) is subject to submission of Audited accounts. Perhaps they first need to sort out these items as they potentially will impact total shares in issue. Quite possible the suspension also plays a part but not sure of those rules. I don’t see any reason that consent would be withheld, especially as Vela has confirmed SGS lock in has ended.

@HectorMcGonigale, Plenty of reasons to think deal will happen soon as you say. Why delay, could be added defense alongside the Autumn/Winter Plans announced. @THGambler, Worth keeping a watch on CIZ for future news updates, another piece of the puzzle.

CIZ RNS specifies royalty payments and quantifies the potential value. Add in the change of language in the Vela RNS to a more specific commercial discussions with potential licensees and it makes you wonder how close they actually are....

Can see both companies doing well here, CIZ are still below their re-list SP, Vela has JN and £2.4m cash.

In theory, yes but SGS do not appear to have ever submitted a TR1, either on initial shareholding or when their % shareholding was diluted (from 9.37% to 6.77%) thru the relevant % levels via Vela increased Shares in Issue thru placing shares/exercise of warrants. Their annual accounts are now 8 months over due. Corporate Governance does not appear to be their strong point.

I think warrants are
~960k @ 0.15p (mid Oct) and ~833k @ 0.125p Aug/22)
