How many Boanerges shares valued at 75p will Vela receive for each Weshop share currently owned? If the BoD elect, these newly issued shares can then be listed on JP Jenkins Direct for sale. Will be interesting to see level of demand for Boanerges post transaction. More money in the kitty, maybe.

The last update we have is from the UCL article which, imo was more detailed than the RNS. I think I am right is saying that a peer review was only mentioned in this article and not an RNS. “The trial reduced the number of deaths in patients receiving AZD1656, a promising finding which will need to be analysed further by the researchers, when cellular immunology results become available, before the study results undergo peer review”. It seems sensible to expect that any commercial deal would be subject to completion of these 2 additional actions. I have no idea how long these will take to complete but it must be close, very close. Just a small sign that things are progressing would be welcome.

Agree on that last point however as the Directors have 284m options at 0.024p, can't see them purchasing shares in the open market at higher levels. So we have lack of comms, no skin in the game and for the trifecta, no NED appointment over 12 months after first announcing it.

All other investments could triple and the SP would stay static imo. The only thing that will get this SP moving in the right direction is a deal. Even then, I am not as convinced as I once was as to the impact on the SP. If people are prepared to sell in the 5s, there will be plenty selling in the 6s, 7s and 8s etc. Don't get trampled in the mad dash for the exit...!!! Is anyone going to stay in this for the long haul, post deal?

Igraine released Unaudited accounts on 09 Sept, which just so happened to be the day of the Trial results RNS – coincidence? The suspension notice talks of legacy corporate activity but if items were yet to be resolved, why release the Unaudited accounts? Part of the Igraine restructure is dependent on Audited accounts being finalised so maybe they were trying to 'wing it'! If Igraine are part of the future transaction alongside EML, then maybe this does need to be sorted in the first instance. I don't know, but I do find it a little more than curious.

Yes, agree with those sentiments. There is plenty of scope for 1 or more further treatments to come onto the market to address this dire situation. I have a good feeling that next week could be it and we receive a positive status update. GLA

These trial results announced today completed patient dosage about 3 months AFTER Arcadia and 1 month AFTER database lock!
"His team treated 738 randomly selected Covid patients in Brazil with fluvoxamine, while another 733 received a placebo, between January 20 and August 6."

I wonder if the trial/analysis is on a different level given patients were at home?
"They were given the treatments at home for ten days and tracked for four weeks to see who was admitted to hospital — or spent extended time in an emergency room if a hospital was full."

Everybody had an opportunity on results RNS to exit at 0.12p-0.14p range and for most that would have provided a return of 50%-100%. If investors decided that was an insufficient return and chose to hold on for the prospect of 200% - 500%, then one must own that decision. Easy to say in hindsight, the question now is what will you do next time SP approaches 0.12p - stick or sell?

If there is one positive takeaway at the moment it is that Vela has cash and lots of it. I don't see any reason to (partially) sell CODE at this stage, it is a good 'un.

From the recent UCL article, my take away is that the additional analysis and peer review need to be completed prior to commercialisation. We are now 6 weeks in but with no idea of timelines, all we can do is hold and wait for any sign of news.
