OJB, would it be fair to ask you what direction you think the SP will go tomorrow and why? (no advise solicitation intended)

I am personally curious and try to look at all options i.e. fundamentals and charts wherever possible to make trading decisions (although I am no expert)!!

For info, I came out at 529 with a small profit :( as I was expecting a retrace so looking to get back in again around the 510 mark.

This should be at least 45p in my opinion.

My perception is that there is more good than bad news in the RNS. The bad news, if you want to call it that, is not catastrophic so hopefully the SP holds up ir better still, we see a blue day.

Is there a reason why you think the trading update will not be good?
Not attempting to ramp or anything like that, just curious as to why that opinion.

I would say the lull is in cautious anticipation of the statement.
The fundamentals have however not changed so, for me, nothing to worry about for now.
KAZ is still a producer!!
Easy to miss out but each to their own. Fingers crossed for some positive fireworks on Friday !!!

HH - Agree. I am hoping for a good bounce off the release next week so I can reduce my holdings temporarily. Let's see what transpires.

Workover - We will not be 'worked over' by this drop in SP :) pun intended

I think this share is worth a minimum of £7 hence my throwing money at it. It will come good IMO.

Noggers - Is there a reason why you think the numbers will not be great? To the best of my knowledge, to date there has been no changes to operations unless I have missed something.

The only reason for the SP drop is because of the Russia mine (Baimskaya) acquisition and the associated costs so just curious as to the drivers for that comment.

May be mistaken Noggers, but I am expecting it after hours next Thursday hence the reference to Friday which is when the actual impact will manifest.

Absolutely my current tack. I have just bought a few more at 476.47 so average now 520 (I must be mad!!!!). Hope to sell that tranche if the price moves above 490. Wish me luck :)

After some serious averaging down, my break even point is now 527p so hopefully not too far off subject to the production figures next Friday.

To be fair, I for one did not expect this immediate level of impact on the SP and have been caught with my pants down.
The deal may prove to be good long term but....

Looking to break even shortly and significantly reduce my holdings. I will always have Kaz in my portfolio though.

Have averaged down significantly (now av of 534) so hopefully will recover a lot quicker than 2021.
Think board is very confident as none of the member have sold yet. Proof will be in the pudding though.

Question is whether to hold when I am evens. Hmmmm

Hardly ever post but in here with a significant investment that I saw plummet from £8.
Holding on because none of the board / big shareholders have sold so there is hope although may take time.

GL all, this will come good and all will say how great the board has been by acquiring the Russia mine.
