Well Gold is holding its own... and coming off a low...if there is any multi million quid invertors looking for a safe haven for their ill-gotten gains they could do a lot worse than this that's for sure. Many big players have pulled cash out of the wider markets so plenty cash at hand so this turmoil may actually work in our favour.

Definitely hope CP has some uplifting news for us.

I was happy to give him & truss chance to pull the country back from the brink of recession... What good is saving a few grand on SD when your mortgage rate (either about to fix or even worse on a variable) is going to cost you way more than any potential saving.
