Doubt it - the rules are clear that if a company is being investigated they have to be informed and would have been asked to hand over documents etc. If there was a credible enquiry then the institutional investors would have dropped their stock but they have held tight throughout the last couple of years of pain. The actual story doesn’t say anything other than repeat what we already know the only clear comment is from ACA who confirm they have not been advised of an investigation. If anyone is concerned then they should sell on Monday the shorters will thank you for it but you risk watching as a deal is finally announced.

Well Stock I don’t understand it either but never underestimate the skill of the shorters particularly when they have their teeth into such a low volume stock as ACA. I certainly have faith in the Bloomberg report - not official but their track record is pretty solid - the fact that the general market has not reacted as one would expect just confirms to me that the market does not always get it right or right straight away. . I don’t know how long it will take for the GoT to go through whatever process is required and I would not be surprised for the Bulldozer to flex his muscles one more time to try and get a slightly better deal but they need this sorted and so I am guessing some sort of official announcement next week.

The news is clear Bloomberg have a well deserved reputation of getting these things right. The deal is close have a little faith and don’t let the shorters tactics put you off. This is probably the last opportunity to buy at these prices take it or don’t the choice is yours.

Hi Mick - all eyes on the FED - they are still likely to raise rates for December (already built into price) but it is the comments they make concerning plans/mood for 2019 which may help to calm the $ and therefore boost gold.

Well Super I am going to say £2.40 plus this week whilst the news is still unconfirmed by Barrick and GoT and £3.50 to £4 on confirmation - in between the shorters should exit which will only add to SP. To all those that have held through the bad days and dark nights - well done you reward is due and on its way - hold hard.

Well if they do not jump up too much at open I will be buying more. I am happy to hold onto the coat tails of the long term holders and wish all invested the very best of luck.

Looks like Barrick have come to terms with GoT- ACA SP set to rocket but this will also clear the decks for an overall agreement releasing the o/s VAT and enabling all the Tanzanian miners to get on with the job. Must be good news for SHG.

Hi T, a trade showing in black is 1 MM selling/trading to another who needs stock to meet their orders.

I think TM will win by a small majority and continue as PM - this will give her the opportunity to put forward her deal with assurances from EU that they will not try and trap UK in backstop agreement and this may be enough to get her proposal agreed. I will hold back on any comment of the timing of the challenge and on how disruptive it might be to the running of the country. Once the deal is agreed JC will use the clear unrest in House to call for vote of no confidence in the Government (he will wait so that he can always claim the Brexit deal was not his and he would have done a better job). I won’t predict the result of a general election but if Labour did win I will predict that there will be parity between $ and £ and uk market will crash. At a great cost to those around us but not by our doing we as shareholders in gold stock particularly ACA will benefit considerably with the uncertainty (falling £) whatever happens - I take some consolation in that this will put even more pressure on the shorters to exit pushing our SP higher. I would also say that our SP is still just a sideshow, good for traders but investors will make the big money only when the deal with GoT and the buyout is confirmed. ATB

Hi GB, I have some historic trading history probably buying in around 2016 like you but I think they went to about 6 when I brought more and sold out for a profit I believe - did they spike up to 9 or so at some point? Anyway happy to be along for the ride and I wish you well with your investment here.

Wow GB that must be nearly 2 million shares - I like your commitment - I believe that the situation in Tanzania will be resolved very soon and that coupled with the upcoming results should give you confidence that the bumpy ride is nearly over. The recent RNS shows that there are big players in the background hoovering up shares - they will know more about what is going on than we do. If the financing is in place and the forecast 100 ounces is achievable then the market cap for this go is massively undervalued.
