I checked news bulletins, nothing on searches for FT, easyjet discussions or rights issue speculation. Closest match was back in spring. Suggesting such a significant event as a fact without some basic reference is a no, no and contradicts FCC regulations and hence has to be removed. If the poster was to say easyjet should be considering such a move, then that is valid. But to state it as a fact is wrong.

Even if Biden announced total opening up with no tests required, within a day or two the lockdown faction in the UK government will have invented a new travel rule totally destroying any chance of true free travel for the rest of the summer.

My short overseas hops are generally for shopping, olive oil, coffee beans, special local delicacies etc. combined with popping in to sometimes stay over with a visit with friends or explore a small town . It is far, far cheaper to fly over to Italy, or Spain, or Portugal for a bit of shopping with the likes of Ryan air than it is to go to quality shops in London. Last look at Milan on Skyscanner.net a few days ago had most of August £9 each way!! Didn't book anything because was waiting for the Italian consular web site to update. Will now wait for the next sabotage statement from UK government. Need to stock up on coffee beans on a day trip, so combined with the cheapo tests on the government website, I should be off shopping mid August through to September. Oh! Italy reduced UK from C to D over the weekend, meaning you do not need a particular reason to visit, but you do have to do 5 days quarantine on arrival. Not sure how that works when I re-start my day trips and weekend trips, lol.

Network rail paid for a study to produce evidence that there were no infected surfaces on the network and in stations and guess what was delivered? I am not analysing the methodology but from the short news piece on the radio there are possible areas that can be questioned, such as the zero virus air borne claims. There is also the question of how the test sites were selected and who directed the location selection. Also there was no word on DNA found showing where living viruses had originally been deposited between cleaning sessions - there must be some. Unfortunately, the constant surface cleaning is not implemented everywhere which is why the key advice given right from the start, WASH YOUR HANDS has not changed.

Whilst the official line from the government is now 'living with covid', it is clear by implication form the letter that there is still a significant faction chasing the unobtainable holy grail trying to eliminate the virus. Speculation as to whom is directing the factions is for other threads but for all of us invested in our various get rich quick/slow schemes involving travel stocks, this in-fighting is of great importance.

In the real world however, natural inner defence mechanisms come into play with the 70/80% of the population that are not susceptible to the troll's suggestion. The majority detect they are being sold too. They detect an inconsistency in information. They don't recall precise details, but their inner voice tells them to be cautious about the troll. As has been demonstrated with recent historic votes, en mass, trolling populations however discretely even with almost imperceptible 'nudge theory' does not always result in the outcome the trolling campaign group wants.

And the next big totem to fall? The climate change lobby. The forced changes to people's freedoms on the horizon and the costs associated will make the next election all about climate change - and the end of the BBC, the troll's propaganda channel. Most likely a new political party will prevail. 25 years of one-sided pure undiluted climate change propaganda will be swept to one side as quickly as UK's membership of the EU. Just like that.
